"Are you talking to me like that? Hahahaha!" Cool Shades started laughing manically. "You talk of stupidity yet recognize me you do not!" He pulled out a ticket to the Galloping Gala and pointed to a sticker saying "VIP". "Do you know what that means? It means Very Important Pony of course! Although it would not surprise me if you have never heard the term! I'll tell you what! If I see you after the Gala I'll tell you what its like! Maybe!" Cool Shades bursted out in laughter before walking out of the store.
Ember bumped past a laughing pony before walking into Sugar Cube Corner, "I wonder what's so funny to him..." She thought outloud
Sno shook her head silently laughing to herself. If that pony only knew that she was one of only TWO private pupils of Celestia, oh how much that would ruin that pony's confidence against her. Add that to the fact she is the ONLY pony in all of Equestria who knows how to use essence magic, oh what she would give to see the look on that pony's face if he found out. She turned to see a pony walk into the door, she silently hoped that at least one she was able to talk to and then introduced herself. "Hello, I'm Snow Mark." She said extending a hoof to the pony.
Ace looked behind his shoulder "Snow?" He hadn't seen her since his trip to trotting ham to go see some old friends. He hoped off of the stool at the bar and trotted over to her.
Jhera looked towards the door while eating the orange cupcake he had just bought. It looked like the ponies were having fun, until one pulled out a shiny gala ticket and shoved it in the other's face. His face crinkled, and he sighed. 'Ponies these days...' he thought. Without noticing, he ate the entire cupcake in one bite. He looked towards his hoof. "Aww APPLESAUCE!" he yelled. He got up and walked towards the entrance. Perhaps he could help with any problems that were going on over there. By the time he got there, two of the ponies were already together, and one was holding out her hoof to the other.
"Nice to meet you to Ember." Snow said, she then turned to see an old friend coming towards her, "Ace! Why are you here!?" She said excitedly, "I haven't seen you in I don't know how long!"
"Everything over here's going alright, yes?" Jhera said as he walked up to the group of ponies. "I wouldn't want anyone to be sad on such a beautiful day such as this!" He gestured out the window. Looking back, he noticed nopony was paying attention to him. His eye twitched and he spoke up again. "So, might any of you need anything?"
"Nope, I'm fine. Just trying to get to know everypony around here better." Snow said to the third pony that had come up to her.
He smiled "Just got back." He watched the blue pony with the sun glasses cutie mark pass by "Its good to see some familiar faces again." He stretched "That and also I needed to pick up a new coat for the Gala." He found a place to sit down. "I could go For a cupcake as well." He smiled laying down some bits.
"Sure! I can get you a cupcake!" Jhera headed back to the counter and bought one of the pink cupcakes and headed back to the group. He handed it to Ember and looked back towards the whole group. "What might you all be doing out here anyways? I saw somepony flashing a gala ticket around earlier. The nerve of some ponies!"
Snow sat next to Ace, "That's cool. Celestia finally decided to give me a break from my studies and is letting me go to the Gala. But apparently, she wants me to stay with her other student, a pony by the name of Twilight Sparkle." she said to him, "Do you know her?"
Ember turned to Jhera, "I know, right?!" Ember said, "I can't stand ponies like that..." Ember took a bite out of the cupcake
Ace nodded "That purple Dragon of hers has It out for me for some reason." He thought back to the one time he Had breathed fire at him. "I think He has a crush on Rarity." (Poor spike)
Jhera looked at Ember. "Do you know what the Gala is like anyways? I've never been to one. Actually, I just got a ticket to the upcoming one! I'm really excited for it, but..." He frowned. "I feel like I'm going to do something wrong."
Snow could hardly suppress a laugh. "Really?! I just met them, and he really has a crush on.... RARITY!" She said, barely containing her laughter. "He does know that, that just isn't gonna happen right?"
He shrugged "You never know the two of them work together fine from what she told me." He took a bite of his cupcake. "Wonder were pinky is."
Ember shrugged, "I guess it's some fancy party at the castle or something... I got a ticket too, actually."
