    Hi,

Would anybody be interested in being the founding members of a Halo: Reach clan? I've been trying to find a decent one for months now, and by decent, I mean one that uses teamwork and coordination while still remaining casual. Finally, I decided to simply make my own. I have a moderate amount of experience in team based play, having joined in and out of numerous groups over the years.

Anyway, what I'm specifically looking for now are people who would be willing to work with a team in coordinated play, and possibly be willing to lead a team of other members in the future. I can run anybody through the basics of tactical team play (its not that tough once you get a feel for it), and otherwise help in getting everybody up to speed.

There is a website I made, because I don't really want to coordinate these things over the horrible xbox live message system. It's a bit unfinished right now, but I'd certainly appreciate it if anybody interested would take a look at it and make sure that this sounds like a system you can be a part of. Here's the link: http://reachnlr.weebly.com

At this point, almost everything is changeable, from the name to the command structure to the seriousness of the group. I'd definitely like some input from fellow bronies on these things.

I'll now take questions, and/or concerns. You may also flame and rant and call this topic names too.

    Thanks!

Sounds promising, as long as I wouldn't be expected to be available to play on Reach all the time, I'm considering joining this clan.
I've been playing Halo since the 2nd game, and I have completed all the games on Legendary difficulty. I've found all the skulls, and often kick flank in the gamemodes "Invasion" and "Big Team Battle".
Like I said, my one concern is availability so don't expect me to be playing Reach all the time with the clan. As a Halo "Veteran" as it were, I'm sure I could come in useful with sharing tactics and tips to the rest of the clan.

There isn't going to be any sort of requirement on play time so long as you at least play a little. That said, if you don't put in a reasonable amount of time, I can't ensure that you'll get a (permanent) command position if you don't play enough to warrant it, but other than that, any amount of online-ness should be totally fine.

Dunno how popular this would be, honestly.

Compared to the earlier games in the series, Reach has been (imo) an utter fail, shown by it's dwindling population.

As for myself, I didn't really play Halo 2 all that much, but I played Halo 3 to the point where I had a 50 in literally every ranked playlist.

I chose Reach because it's the most recent and I figured it would have the largest population. I'm certainly fine with any of the games in the series myself, I just wanted to make it as accessible as it could be to others.

In any case, it doesn't look like anypony is interested. It was worth a try at least.

Eh... I like Reach, but I also like clans that don't focus on just one game.

Yeah but without a large group to begin with it becomes hard to get coordinated team play working if you focus on multiple games. Only so many people will be online at any given time, and they'll all be wanting to play different things, which means that you'd need team leaders online for multiple games simultaneously. This would be too hard without an already large and trustworthy group of players.
