I once had my computer crash, due to some stupid virus, and I lost pretty much everything that I hadn't backed up. And how do those viruses know you haven't backed up in a couple of months? Huh. Any ways, sorry for your loss, I know how you feel. Hopefully you can get some of your stuff back and move on. And I'm skipping Windows 8 - I noticed that pattern as well, and plan on getting Windows 9, or whatever they call it.
I know I barely know you (if at all) Peace, but I just want to hug you and tell you I know that feel very darn well. I made one of the biggest mistakes installing Win-8. I buckin hate it. It is DEFINITELY NOT PC-USER FRIENDLY! I hate the whole program, plus my comp is moving so gosh-darn slow. That's why I am on my IPod Touch 99% of the time. What I did today was buy a 16GB flash drive (should be enough, if not, then I do have like 5GBs worth of other flash drives, to hold the remaining data). Then cause I also have malware & other register errors, after I put all my memory on the Flash drives. I am whipping out my PC, and then I am re-installing Win-7. I might try Linux, cause I hear it is under-rated. Seems like Windows hits and misses, Win-8 seem to be as terrible as Vista. That's why I am now want to school for Information Technology (IT), not only cause it's in high demand and pays pretty adequately, but I can learn how to work this stuff. Good luck to you Peace, and any other pony with comp issues. Sent from my iPod touch named 'Rainbow Dash' cause I am the Realest BRonY in the mug, by Tapatalk.
Sorry to hear about that, hope you can recover your stuff (and hopefully without problems, if so). :/ So true.
