Yes. A further thought, primarily about unusual species and we've had quite a few. How extensive are you planning to make your species list or shall we just make it up as we go along?
Pff... uh... heh... bluh. I was gonna have a basic list of species based on the show, and anything after that the GMs can make up themselves.
This seems pretty in-depth how will inventory systems work. Also on a side note How's the every pony multiverse thing Tyro.
You mean the ones that would require this type of thing right. Eight Star told me that it is up to the GM if they wish to use this system.
*edits rules* You are now required to use this system that Eight slaved over for a few hours when roleplaying
Hello, everyone. I told Eight Star that I'd be here, so here I am! Isn't that swell? I just skimmed over the manual, and I like what I see. In fact, I sent a copy to myself at work, so I can read over it later. As for the narrator, I was going to suggest Dustie Jacket, but she might be a bit too old...
I do think she wouldn't have quite the pep. I was thinking of setting up a casting call for different faces in the book.
QUILL -glomps- I'm guessing this is just a temporary presence, but it's great to see you again!! ^^ I like that idea too!
HELP! I need suggestions. Backgrounds! Trying to make backgrounds that can, in a sense, personalize a pony for somepony's role-playing experience. I realized it would be nice when I thought of one: Blind; -3 Awareness, +2 Willpower, +1 Creativity, Visual Checks are not allowed. Then I thought of another: Prior Training; Replace one of your class skills with a weapon type skill of your choice. What else? I'm not looking for too many that just change stats around, since players can switch their 18 distributable around as they want. Also, been working on classes. A look at my progress: Guard - Requires at least 4 Resilience. Has damage reduction and ally protection skills to start. Warrior - Requires at least 4 Ferocity. Has melee combat skills. Bolter - Requires at least 4 Speed. Has movement and dodge skills. Scout - Requires at least 4 Awareness. Has spotting and hiding skills. Performer - Requires at least 4 Creativity. Has song and dance and ally inspiring skills. Stalwart - Requires at least 4 Willpower. Has skills that reduce the effects of detrimental effects, as well as a healing ability. I was also thinking of some classes like: Berserker - Requires 8 starting Ferocity. Crazy melee attacker, has rage. Martial Artist - I'm thinking requires 6 Speed and 6 Ferocity. Improved dodge, counter, and knockback skill. I've got a few mage types lined up, but they have specific conditions to get each one. Like the Elemental, Emotional, and Runic mages. You must have a cutie mark that represents that form of magic. Like Twilight has a cutie mark that represents magic, giving her a small bonus to all magic types. However, if there were a unicorn mage that had a cutie mark of Fire, they would have a big bonus to fire elemental magic, but not be able to cast any other form, (except basic unicorn spells; light, and levitation.)
Classes based on stats, instead of vice versa? I'm liking this, it makes sure the class matches the stats so a mage won't have 1 willpower or something silly like that. ^^
Yes. I'm thinking of making the Guard class an 8 Resilience requirement and replacing the 4 requirement with some kind of Worker class. After all, workers seem pretty basic, but you only see a few guards.
