How come How to train your dragon didn't catch on?

    I just got done watching How To Train Your Dragon and was wondering why didn't the movie catch on as much as MLP? To tell you the truth I liked the movie as much as I like MLP:FIM. Which is a first. I now feel like drawing fan art again... Curse you wonderful entertainment!

    I dunno, I loved the movie as well. Maybe Ponies are better then dragons. <-----HOPE mig see that.

    Great MOVIE.. but it's it not expansive. It doesn't draw people on with more episodes etc. There's little to talk about or mess around with come it's exhaustion?

    While I was doing push ups yesterday I thought the exact same thing... Surprised I didn't think of that in the first place... Then again I type everything on here 90% of the time at night when I'm disoriented so I'm surprised I typed this without adding a grammatcle incorect statmint. (troll face). But without getting off topic it should be more expanded. Luckily more will come out. The fandom will pop back up. I'll be a virgin. Everyone will be happy. Ill be a virgin.     Jumping back on topic again...(ADHD showing much?) your right! The movie would get exhausted... Until 2014

    I love "How to Train Your Dragon" - easily one of my favorite movies. AND it's extra special to me because it was only through a HTTYD fanfic that I learned of MLP:FiM and became a brony.
