Well, I went to a chocolate fest with one of my best friends and her mom. Ate a TON of free chocolate, drank a lot of free booze, got a message from my doctor about scheduling my surgery. But it came too late for me to call back, so I have to wait until Monday to do so. Which is okay. It's only a few days, and I highly doubt anything SUPER SERIOUS OH MY GOSH is gonna happen between now and then. Now that I'm home, I'm just talking to another friend about her baby and stuff (she's due in April. I'll be an aunt again! Honorary Auntie A niece and two nephews aren't enough. I need THREE nephews! ALL THE NEPHEWS.) Even with all this surgery stuff, life is pretty good. Things are kind of serendipitous. I've had trouble finding a job, but it'll be easier not having one with the surgery. I can take however long I need to recover rather than pushing myself to go back to work too soon. Overall, life is pretty dang swell ^_^ I've had multiple friends step up and show me just how much they care lately. Even though it's just a routine surgery, they still care and worry about me. I bought a bra that fits beautifully (any ladies know the glory of a properly fitting bra). I had a ton of chocolate and booze today (which is always a good thing when you're sharing the experience with friends ^_^). I'll be having a new baby soon. Life. Is. Sa-weet. <3
