I went to bed at 8am and woke up at 9am. I think I'm destroying myself to be honest. But still, it's been a fairly good, if not uneventful day.
If you honestly think you're destroying yourself, then i suggest you make a slightly better sleep schedule ^^" But I'm glad to hear your day has been fine anyway.
I got my shirts from UPS already, still need to get a video camera before I open it up. I know it's going to be so awesome!
My day was not great. I wore my Rainbow Dash shirt to school and got made fun of for it. I felt horrible about it. Anyway, at least I came back to this lovely community
*hugs affection* that was very not nice from them. on topic: well my day was: wake up by phone. go back to sleep. wake up in 1pm, go to computer (facebook, everypony, etc), I went to one mall to get one card for special credits when I go to the cinema, home, and then nothing special.
That's the weird thing, I haven't seen the movie in a while, I was only reminded of it after I woke up! @Affection lonely community? I think we're a rather sociable one, nopony shuns anypony. Try to forget about it...haters ARE gonna hate after all...
No, no. I made a mistake. Sorry about that. I meant lovely. I absolutely adore Everypony and everyone on it. You guys are amazing
Ouch, that really must suck... but don't get too down though, it's not like those jerks' opinions should matter.. I'll wear pony merch too, as soon as I can... so I'll try to be following my advice... (and maybe retorting to jerks by being a bit arrogant XD) And as for my day... First day of highschool ^_^ ...nah, I'm not gonna lie about it, there's no difference. It's a bit lame in my perspective. More work though, but I'll have to get used to it.... I worry about certain stuff though... my sister showed me her grade 9 book and asked me for help, and my mind drew a complete blank Fought with my sisters, too.. they are often VERY irritating. Not that anyone outside of our family would normally know, seeing my sisters, younger brother and admittedly, myself are normally quite quiet IRL when in public. XD I might not be foruming as much today, though... I got 2 day's worth of homework (somehow) Today was supposed to be the 2nd day of school for everypony where I am, but I stayed for the first to take care of my brothers. (family probs thing) Somehow they got homework on the first day... I was like "what! impossible" but I guess that's the whole idea of highschool...
Woke up to put on some music by pinkie pie swear and over MLP remixes then went to school where I "learn" then got home and played games and went on here. Days rating: Normal
Yeah. Right back at ya, Lup. The aftereffects of the addiction is already starting to take hold; I'm hella depressed right now. Not about my bipolar disorder; this is just plain dependence. This is a good sign, even if the current time is bad.
Well, you know what they say about things getting worse before they get better. If it was easy giving up alcohol, then there wouldn't be any alcoholics. The fact that it's difficult is actually a sign you're doing things right. As for my day, it's ten past 2 in the morning at the time of writing, and I'm off to bed. This could be a sign I'm starting to get back into a decent sleep routine. The fact that I will wake up at about 9am no matter what time I go to bed has been the killer for me recently. If I could lie in, I would, but I just can't. Also, I've started getting serious about my art. I've started becomg more involved in the art community, and I hope to better myself as an artist. I've already got an artist as an inspiration, so I have something to roughly aim for in terms of skill. Musically as well, I'm starting to expand in to areas I've always wanted to but never really knew how. I don't know how this is going to fit in with the amount of studying I have to do in college. I'm not even sure what career I want anymore. I was certain i wanted to go into medicine, but I can't help but wonder if this will hinder my love for art. Either way, this isn't the thread to discuss this, so I'll stop.
My day was a fine day indeed. For much of the night I was drawing, and I appear to be learning plenty.
Mine was pretty good. Went to sleep at 4am, woke up at 11am along with my sister. We both agreed to tell our parents we woke up at 10.
And now, a WTF moment from Zephyr's day... So, I was at college and it was my free time, so I took a seat under some shade outside and started on some notes for my next class. After a while, this squirrel passes by me, acting strangely. It was very wary around me and staring me down. It retreated into some bushes and I returned to my work. A few minutes later, I heard what I could only describe as a small tree falling down, followed by a high pitched little screech. That made me look around for a bit, but I went back to my work. I then see the same squirrel pass by me and go up a tree, carrying something really odd looking in it's mouth. It then climbed back down and went into the bushes. It later returned with something else and did the same thing. I later found out that it was carrying baby squirrels to a new nest, because a hawk knocked it's old nest off of a tree, which was the noise. The screaming was either the adult or the baby squirrels.... Yeah...other than that, it was a routine day...
Sorry to hear that, Affection. That's awful. What is wrong with some people? I guess they haven't learned about love and tolerance... yet (heh heh heh). First time I'm posting in this thread. My day was okay overall, except for this morning. I was supposed to get up at 6:00 AM, but stupid me didn't turn the alarm up on my phone to wake me up. So I ended up waking up an hour late and wound up being 45 minutes late to class when I finally arrived. Instead of walking into class 45 minutes late, I waited until the break* then I snuck in. The professor didn't notice. I felt awful about it, but at least I learned a valuable lesson; Dear Princess Celestia, Today I learned that it is wise to make sure that you have the volume turned up on your alarm before you set it! Your faithful student, ePONYmous *The class is scheduled 8 AM - 11 AM, with a 30-minute break between 9:15 AM to 9:45 AM, but the professor normally has us take a 10-minute break between 9:00 AM and 9:10 AM (or something similar) so we can end earlier than 11 AM. Typically a half hour or more earlier. However, it was in the second-half of this same class that we did something interesting. For some reason, the professor had us play a weather Jeopardy game, and we each took turns based on our birthmonths. He started off with September, but since mine is in May, many students went before I did. When it was my turn, I unknowingly selected the one-and-only "bonus question" that was there. I thought it was bad luck that I had chosen the presumably hardest question (or in this case, answer). Actually, it turns out it was one of the easiest for me. I might not have the exact numbers right, but I still remember the general idea: The answer was: It's a very warm summer day. The air temperature is 87ºF. There are cumulus clouds around. However, I'm just 5 km away. It's 25ºF and it's snowing. My question was: What is a thunderstorm's cloud base? The correct question was: What is "Up"? It turns out both questions are correct. Spoiler: Meteorology Junk Personally, I think mine is a better one because it said "snowing" and thunderstorms can have snow falling at their bases. The snowflakes just melt into raindrops by the time they reach the warm surface. It's quite the temperature drop 5 km up (≈ 16,000 ft). For example, and only meteorologists on here will probably understand this jargon, but on a Skew-T/Log-P diagram, such as this one from Pittsburgh, PA, shows that the temperature (the red line) at about 16,000 ft (I'd say this is around the 550 mb level) is -10ºC ≈ 14ºF, while the surface temperature is 21ºC ≈ 68ºF. This is at 1200Z (8 AM this morning). This is a temperature difference of 54ºF within about 5 km. Not quite as big as the 62ºF difference in the answer above, but it still presents the basic idea. That's one reason why I don't know how the ponies could stand it on Cloudsdale. It'd be pretty darn cold!!! I guess they're just used to it. Also the wind according to this diagram is 35 to 40 kts (40 mph to 46 mph). That's tropical storm force winds. So it'd be cold and windy in Cloudsdale! Yikes! Of course, at that altitude it's not always that windy or that cold. I saw some that only had 5 kts at around 550 mb. The 0000Z (8PM EDT) one from Fort Worth, TX, has 5 kt winds at that altitude and a temperature of 3ºC ≈ 37ºF, while the surface temperature is 37ºC = 98.6ºF, a 61.6ºF difference. I think you get the idea. Sorry about the weather-tangent, haha. Maybe Cloudsdale is somewhere where it's not high enough to be unbearably cold and windy. Then again, we don't know the altitude of Cloudsdale, do we? Not to mention, you'd require saturation to get a cloud. Which means the air temperature must be at the dewpoint temperature. Good luck finding a warm dewpoint temperature at an altitude where clouds form. Anyway, these principles probably don't apply in Equestria, so I'll stop digressing now. Heh. My prize for answering this question correctly, by the way, was a $5.00 Dunkin' Donuts gift card. Yay. lol. Uh... Other than this, not much else happened today. Aren't you glad?
Awh, those kids need to learn "Love and Tolerance" Here you can hold my Vinyl Scratch. :derpe: I just got my shirts and checked it out. I'll make the video in a couple days or more, depending on how fast/unoccupied I am. Heh, that's what I do. Even if I still sleep over that noise someone at home will wake me up. :derpe: Just got my shirts in the mail at roughly 5:20PM. I opened up the box @ 10PM~ Lets just say that I was curious and opened it up before I was to make an unpacking/boxing video of it tomorrow or over the weekend. I'll not spoil the rest. Shirts look awesome though. (I just have to wash them properly; inside out/cold water/gently/etc...) I don't do the laundry, but I better make sure that they don't mess it up. *Feels like doing laundry now...* :derpe:
