well i told my father about being a brony 2 days ago. i had to get some tickets for galacon in stuttgart and needed him and his credit card for that matter :/ so what i had in mind was just: >get on phone >send him a link >tell him: "those 2 tickets please" >hang up because i really didn't want my daddy to think less of my for liking ponies and such... so i wanted to make this a s quick as possible so it went something like this: >heya daddy-o. need you to me a favor. >send him link Spoiler: this is what he sees >can you please follow my insturctions for a sec and get two tickets for a convention for me (i'm paying him back cash ofc, just don't have a credit card) now it's cool, he has been to dragoncon in atlanta with me before and he had fun aswell, so... >he clicks on the link? >awkward silence (ponies? nope.) >"that is a show for little girls. what is this about?" >it is a convention >.< please just do what i tell youuu!!" >what is a convention? arrgh!! well i guess he was just flabbergasted with the sudden realization of ponies... >son i think you should make up your mind up about this first >silence >i will call you back tomorrow feels bad man :/ i have been able to get those tickets by bank transfer now. but he hasnot called me back or talked to me since. i'm sure it's not a big deal, but it just felt awkward. just though i'd share with you guys^^
My mum walked in on me watching MLP and I was like 'So... Yeah I love this show.' Then she knew for sure when I changed my wallpapper to RainbowDash and I had little RainbowDashes and Princess Lunas trotting around my screen. I'm pretty sure she know I'm not gay, but I think she thinks I'm a little odd.... Like I care! My little pony is amazing and I'm proud to love the show! And so should everypony else!
