This statement utterly shattered Draven's heart. He began to tear up. "You know, Spits..." he said, "I could've picked anypony. Luna, Cadence, Twilight, Rarity, Sunset Shimmer, Rainbow Dash, even Celestia herself... Hell, I could've picked Diamond Tiara if I wanted to! But I didn't. I picked you." His tears intensified, as his heart sank deeper. "I could've said all sorts of things back there. I could have called you names, insulted you, flipped you off, maybe even hit you if I thought I was hard enough! But I didn't! You know why? Because you're my favorite pony! I'm the biggest fan of yours on Earth! I have all your toys, you're my computer wallpaper, you're on a poster on my wall, I watched your episodes, read your comics, and even wrote a fan-fiction about you! I LOVE you, Spitfire! But you don't see that, do you? All you see is a jerk brony, who only cares about himself... but I'm not! I think you're the best pony in Equestria!" He started sobbing. "But that's not enough, now, is it? Maybe I don't deserve you..."
Oliver took the box and the pony home and quickly started a fire in the fireplace. The dim glow of the flames lighting up the dark cold room. He got the warmest blankets that you could find and the softest pillows he could and made a bed for her on the couch. Taking the sleeping and shivering pony out of the box, he put her under the blankets. Meanwhile, he went to make her a cup of hot chocolate.
After a small bit of time, Sunset began to slowly shake and finally she lifted her eyelids up. She looked around and she stammered, "I-Is someone there? Anyone?" She blinked and curled up towards the fire, :W-whoever found me... thankk you..." Spitfire stopped and she slowly walked back and sighed, hugging him a little. She whispered in his ear, "Calm down, it's not that big of deal. I'm not going anywhere." She smiled a little and stroked his back. Rainbow nodded and she turned tail towards home.
"Thank you," Draven said in between sobs, "for everything..." He hugged her back, as he pulled himself together.
By the time that Oliver had returned to the room, he found Sunset huddled in a ball next to the fireplace. With a smile on his face, he quietly went into the room without her noticing and sat down on the couch.
Since there were at home now, Melanie decided to give Rainbow Dash something to eat. "What kind of food do you eat back in Ponyville?" she asked.
Rainbow shrugged, "Chips, hay, flowers, you name it." She smirked a little. Sunset turned to look at him and yawned a little, then she slowly stood up and hobbled over to him. She whispered, "Thank you... I... I was adopted by a person but... they didn't want me and.... well threw me out in that box... again thank you." She weakly pulled herself up on the couch and curled up against the pillows.
Oliver raised an eyebrow. "That's strange, because I found a letter that you wrote with my name on it."
"I could probably get some chips in the kitchen, the flowers I could get in the backyard. Would like some water too? Anything else as well?" She asked.
"Water will defiently be nice." Rainbow waved her hoof, "Make it quick, I'm a little thirsty." "I-I don't know... I-I jsut konw what happened." Sunset's ears went down and she moved away from the human. Spitfire laughed a little.
"Alrighty then." She said. Melanie quickly made her way through the kitchen. When she came back to her room, she gave the drink to RD. "There you go." she said.
"Well," Draven replied, "There's one that you might like." He booted up his Xbox 360, selected Halo 3 from the Games menu, and handed her a controller. "It's about a super-soldier in the future fighting aliens," he explained. "Of course, we'll be playing the multiplayer mode."
Spitfire took the controler, "Awesome. Let's see how to do this stuff." She waited for the game to set up. RD chugged the glass down with a little burp, "Excuse me."
As soon as it started up, Draven set the game to local multiplayer and picked a map. "Do the video games back in Equestria look anything like this?" he asked her.
