He followed, tipping his head back to check the skies.
She paused in front of small, pink flowers.
He knelt besides them. "They're lovely."
She watched him curiously. "Do you think so? It took a long time to find the seeds for all of them."
"I do. I can tell you've put a lot of work into them."
She crossed her arms. "Yeah.."
"It's really cool."
"Thank you. I mean, there's a lot of stuff here and.. you could come here any time, if you want to."
He laughed, his hands on his hips. "Have I made that good of an impression?"
She squinted at him. "I'm just saying I might as well share it."
"But you're an introvert."
"And you're one person."
"Touche."
She smiled playfully. "Besides, you're not half bad."
He laughed slightly, his wings flapping. "Are you flirting with me?"
"Flirting? What does that mean?"
"Flirting?"
"Yeah."
"Nevermind. I was making a joke."
"What does it mean, Briar?"
