“I’d like that,” he said sincerely, grinning at her.
She smiled brightly. "Great. Let's go."
He stood up unsteadily, glancing back with a frown.
She stood and offered her hand.
He took it, teetering to kiss her cheek.
She smiled gently, holding his arm and taking him to her room.
He followed, teetering embarrassingly.
She kept tight his hand before sitting on the edge of the bed.
He looked down at her for a moment before kissing her forehead.
She smiled slightly, tilting her head. "Cute."
"I'm walking like I'm drunk."
"What are you like drunk?"
"Wings are a huge part of balancing."
She tapped her chin, looking up at him. "But you still have them."
"But they're not able to be controlled."
"True.."
"It's a problem."
"Come lay with me then. It'll start to feel better tomorrow."
"Hm. You're very convincing."
She grinned, scooting back.
