"Why out here?" she asked. "Why the lyre? People don't generally come out into this field because of the stories."

 

"The legend. This field is supposedly cursed."

 

"Ares supposedly cursed this land when his followers lost a battle here."

 

She crossed her arms.

"I'm investigating it. You seemed to have not gotten the message, though."

 

"It's a problem because no one is supposed to be around here."

 

She rolled her eyes.

"Yes, but I have a job to do."

 

"Looking around," she said flatly. "Besides, I don't need to answer your questions."

 

"There's no orders. I'm just surprised. No need to get so touchy. Why do you even have the lyre?"

 

She glared at him, crossing her arms.

"You're annoying."

 

She raised an eyebrow.

"I am trying to get a job done."
