They were unlike ones he had ever seen before, intricate carvings in deep black stone.
He tilted his head, running his hands over them.
They shimmered with a purple magic, letting off a warm heat.
He squinted before standing up. "Huh."

There would be a moment before she felt a tap on her shoulder.
She glanced over her shoulder, one brow raised.
It was Darius, his head tilted slightly.
She blinked before nodding with understanding. "Ah. The Apollo child."
"Where did you go on the field?"
"I went to Vesta," she said, as if this was obvious. "I had a new task to complete.""
"Do you ever relax?"
She blinked, looking at him. "I'm not built to relax."
"I'm sure you have a moment."
"No, I really don't."
"Then what are you doing today?"
