Her free hand ran through his hair gently as she looked down at him thoughtfully. "Oh, this tea?" she teased gently, flicking the side of the porcelain with her fingernail. "Uh-uh. This is all mine. I'm drinking it all even though I don't really like tea."
She squinted at him for a moment before her gaze flickered over to the tea. "Maybe I was saving it for later," she said daintily. "I would totally drink it - you know, because it's my tea - but I don't really want it right now."
She huffed at this, planting a quick kiss on the top of his head. "I can't believe this. Why are you still up, anyway? You should be asleep."
"Alright," she said flatly, sitting on the arm of his chair. "That's great. But I'm here, and I think you should sleep. You have to listen to me, remember? I'm the Antichrist or something."
"Yes," she admitted, running her fingers through his dark hair slowly. "I am. But I also would really love to cuddle with you if you're not too busy. I don't want to be needy, or anything, but I'd really, really love to hug you."
She flushed at the pet name, glaring up at him for a moment indignantly. "You know it makes me red when you do that," she muttered, beginning to lead him towards her room.
"You really are a demon," she muttered, opening the door to her room and heading over to the dresser.
She squinted at him, coming over to him and slipping onto his lap, draping her arms over his shoulder. "I only speak the truth."
