He dropped her hand in surprise before bursting into warm laughter.
She grinned, her eyes bright.
"That's so cool! Can you talk?"
She hesitated, opening her mouth and making a strange expression before shaking her head.
He laughed before waving. "I want to talk with you about it, though!"
She stuck her tongue out again. "Beehhhh."
"Ew! Snake-mouth!"
It turned back normal and she laughed. "Tada!"
"That was the scariest thing in my life," he said with a grin.
"Oh, I'm sure."
"Imagine if my tongue just turned into a snake!"
"Weirrrd."
"It is weird. I just assumed your tongue was an antler."
"What..?"
He laughed again. "I'm messing with you. I knew you had a snake as a tongue."
"I have a normal tongue!"
"Right, sure..." he said with a wink.
She stuck her tongue out, showing that it was normal.
“Human magic.”
"It's normal!"
