"Cookie dough..."
"Let's do that."
She nodded, standing up. "Did you sleep well?"
"I did. You?"
She nodded. "It was nice."
"And neither of us died, so that's nice."
"What?"
"Why would we?"
"We're both hunted."
"My home is safe."
"Huh. I trust you."
"Good. Thank you."
"Thank you."
She kissed his cheek. "I keep it safe."
"I can tell."
"Safe from the hunters. You'll never have to worry when you're here."
"Is that a promise?"
She nodded seriously. "I promise."
