She is (or at least WAS) a representation of Hasbro/DHX RECOGNIZING the Brony community. What's not to get? She was kind of a victory for us. Shows don't do that normally. It was like "*gasp* They know!"
Honestly, i just like being able to point her out in the background. I can't stand 4chan. I wish the creators of the show wouldn't bother giving winks out to the fandom...I really wish they would do their own thing...makes the show more interesting imo.
