I decided to create this portrait on laundry day :derpe: I think I'll add it back in in the next one if I can make it look better. Plus I wanted to kinda show his butt tattoo. For some reason the red I color with shows up more brownish and muted when I scan it so next time I might just do the lines and scan it and mess around with coloring in GIMP.
After a pretty intense genetics discussion on lbpc about the ponies, it turns out it would be impossible to have my brony be a pegacorn, I would have to redesign him, and lose either the wings or horn. I stink really bad at drawing the horn, so out it goes. I also suck at making up a backstory, so that's where I need help. Off to redraw Steelion.
If you're not writhing a backstory, does "realism" really matter? Well wings wouldn't be too useful for metal working so I'd imagine a horn would make more sense.
I just had a thought. What if he was a member of the royal family that got hidden and shunned because of his deformed nature? That would be a minor rewrite and no redraw.
If anything Celestia ia the deformed one in that her body style is completely unique, though it's hard to gauge normal for them seeing as the only two are her and Luna, and Luna is more similar to the others in body shape
Well, the 'malformation' I am talking about is in his powers. His horn does not have complete control over everything like some, but rather can only control metals. His wings are where the physical deformities come in. While you can't see it in the picture in my avatar, his wings are different sizes, making him a weak flyer. I need to redraw him anyway with the clothes he had on in an earlier drawing anyway, since people liked the way he looked and so did I. I'll draw him facing the left so you can see the gimpy wing.
