I have been both busy and sort of scared to come here. I am a part of a couple of Tulsa Brony groups and many Skype Brony groups. I now have a job (Overnight In-Stocker at Wal-Mart, meh job but hey, it will help with college). I started my job at Wal-Mart this past Wednesday and I am ok with it so far. (so far only saw one other brony). I have Brony Dysphoria (for lack of a better term). I feel like I am not accepted by the Brony community and is hated by a lot of them. I was scared to post here cause of it and anxiety prevented me. I am also struggling with my Gender Dysphoria. I go by Lauren now (yes, spelled just like Lauren Faust) and I feel like if I tell more people that I identify as a female. I will be discriminated more. I am back for the time being. I talked to Yeti a week ago and we talked about the issues we have both been going through. He helped me come back in a better mood. Today is also my First Brony Birthday, I have became a Brony on the evening/night of July 21, 2012. I still love MLP and the Brony family. And I still love all of you guys. And you are still a close brother to me Zoe. I think about you guys almost everyday.
Good question, thanks for asking. One reason was when I was thinking of a girl's name, I originally was going to go with Lyra (both because of the pony and the female protagonist on Pokemon HG/SS.) But my mom hated that name, but I actually turned from it cause I wanted my nickname to be Lily (Lily because I remember reading a story about Jimi Hendrix, being a beloved black guitarist in a 'lily-white' world of rock.) and that stuck with me cause how I see Jimi Hendrix in me. As well as the lily is the floral symbol of the lesbian community and although I am a M2F transgender, I am into women so I appear as a straight male, but I see myself as a lesbian. Since Lily and Lyra are both 4 letters, it isn't shortening it. Lauren had the same letter quantity as Bryant. Another reason, was cause a frontwoman of a punk band called "Against Me!" is a M2F transgender and like me, is into women (gynephilia) and is married to a woman. Her new name is Laura (when she was a guy, it was Tom). But Lauren Faust is also a reason cause of not only MLP, but with her working on Powerpuff Girls, Code Name Kids Next Door, Foster Home For Imaginary Friends, and other late 90s and 2000s cartoons, she help make my childhood and teenhood. And she is an inspiration to me. So some of it has to do with Lauren Faust, but only about 30%. Yes I did, I worked that day, but I posted (when I was off for the afternoon hours) on every brony site I am a part of. I put Brony songs on both my music club on facebook that I run as well as a Brony Facebook group I co-own. And even at work I played Brony Radio the whole shift. I also made an acquaintance at work name William who is a Brony. So I am not alone in being a Brony / Pegasister. Thank Zoe & Wolf for the Questions. I am an overnight stocker. I put the items on the shelves for the customers and zone them to make it easier for them to access. It's from 10 PM to 7 AM.
