trust me, on internet, people can have dumbest comments. some of them come out on Art of Trolling.com or Comixed.com (as memes/screenshots from other sites (including youtube comments))(they are part of Cheeseburger network which I'm member of) and sometimes you simply can't tell if it's trolling.. or very stupid person.
Works every time! ^^ You know, a while back I was in the same boat as you. I might've already mentioned it. Get something for me to be sick in!!! :ahh:
I've heard about them. I know what they've done. Breaking the hearts of us, the poor, grieving Bronies. So it's like that? They're out to make a life of misery for the lovely Bronies, is that it?! Well, over my dead body they will, because you see, Hasbro have let me be more like a friend to them than like a fan. They can say, or not say, whatever they want! They can screw up Clue all they like with their "Discover the Secrets" farce!! But they've given us something that NOBODY can take away from us: the spirit of friendship and its values! This is only the beginning, you mark my words, THIS IS ONLY THE BEGINNING!!!!
You said it. I'm just so done with all the crap people give us when we are having a good time laughing and they are crying about their lives and treating us bad because they have nothing else to do. I'm happy and that's all!!!
I'm tempted to declare war..... yeah, right. Last time I tried that, the neighbours had to talk me out of it. I had to put myself under the radar for a fortnight or so after that! Never again, never!
I'm not sure about the closet brony thing, but I never really got why people feel the need to spend a lot of time creating content of something they don't like if not just to get attention (unless it's about issues that have a larger impact than an animated show, political debates for exampe). I can see that in some cases it could be funny to see the responses of fans, but to create a whole animation sounds like way too much effort for that purpose. Or perhaps the video was just supposed to be a funny repesentation of the fanbase (because the idea of an older fanbase for ponies still sounds silly) and didn't get the intended response from the viewers.
I know, I know, it's horrible. I don't really know a lot of words to describe it other than... Disgusting Horrible Misrepresentation (Of Bronies in general) Bucked Up Sickening Cruel And most importantly, STUPID
You said it Affection, that made me feel a bit sick. Why can't people learn that others just have different interests in different things. You're cool if you like what's popular now (Halo, stupid reality show, etc,), but the one time you say that you like something that's unusual for some people, they flip out and deride you. Here's a good correlation to MLP- the furry fandom. I don't like the things furries like and I will never understand it. Do I point and laugh and insult them? No! They just like something different, yet they are persecuted as much as, or even more than bronies. I'm not sure if I'm wording this correctly, but I hope more people would be either tolerant of other interests or would simply not care.
Now, I've seen that video, and though I do regard it as quite offensive, I've learnt to ignore much stuff and not allow myself to get caught up in anger. So, really, I'm indifferent to it.
Silly Setzer. There's no such thing as a "canon fan-fic." That's an oxymoron. But I think I know what you meant. Heh. On topic: Funny, I saw an image somewhere that evidently took a frame from this video. At the time I said, "WTF is this?!" and now that I see this video I say... well, the same thing. I'm not angry though. There's really no point in being angry. Haters gonna hate as we say. Besides, I actually feel sad, not personally sad, but for the ignorant ones that watch this video and actually believe it's an accurate representation of us. I'm not referring to the trolls, I couldn't care less about them. I mean the non-troll non-brony. We went through the five (or less) stages of brony development, but these people will, unfortunately, go through these stages: > See this video. > Assume that it's an accurate representation of bronydom. > Jump upon the hate bandwagon. Actually, it might be how any other form of hate propaganda works: > See [some form of media]. > Assume that it's an accurate representation of [fandom name]. > Jump upon the hate bandwagon. ^ I present to you the hate bandwagon template, and yes, it is as simple as it looks. You're welcome. lol. As I said, I feel bad for them because if they don't give it a chance like we did, they'll miss out on the greatness that is bronydom. I also feel kinda bad for the creator of this video, for some reason. What a waste of animation skill. Even though it's only 52 seconds, it's still a waste. If anypony is still upset about it, don't be. That's probably what they want. They want to upset us, gain haters, and views. For every fandom there's an anti-fandom or hatedom, if you will. We'll love and tolerate the **** out of 'em, or just ignore it.
I watched the video, and I found it rather funny. I'm okay with it for this reason - Anybody who sees that video, and forms an opinion on me and everyone else in this community is frankly too stupid to be of any concern. Really, I don't consider someone with that level of intelligence a legitimate enemy. Love and tolerance heading your way, retards.
Here's some psychological reasonings for you, explaining haters. Stereotypes are formed by taking a seemingly common trait, sometimes true, and claiming eveyone of the fandom, race, or gender do that thing. This shows that assuming everyone of a group is the same as roughly 3% of them is a common instinct, and as we all know instinct blocks normal reasoning and intelligence. We are singled out for a reason. Instinct tells most creatures to single the odd one out. When a chicken's eggs hatch, there will be a majority feather color. There'll usually be one or two chicks that are of a different color, such as black or brown. How does the majority react? Simple, it pecks the odd ones to death. Humans do a similar thing, but in a different way. Since the human brain causes more complex emotions and reasonings, their instinct is to attempt to cause negative emotions or depression in the minority group. When the Europeans discovered darkskinned humans in Africa, they made publications that prove this instinct, with posters claiming that black men and women were scientifically proven to be less intelligent than caucasians. Of course, we must combat these instincts with basic knowledge. Stereotypes are also usually believable by many if the stereotype is negative or neutral, but positive stereotypes appear to be both scarce and hard to believe. One example of a negative, widely believed stereotype is that black people are always selling illegal drugs. We all know that's not true, so why does instinct lead us to believe it? Because instinct overrides intelligence. The human race never actually required intelligence to srvive as a species, but it aided us in the path to be the most dominant species on the planet. TL;DR: People are jerks because their instinct tells them to. At this point it is easy to overcome instinct due to intelligence, but for those who frequent websites such as youtube, facebook, twitter, and other websites that aren't famous because of memetics, instinct and overall dickery shrouds smarts. A simple fact: The more members, the more idiots. The more idiots, the more haters. It's that simple.
It's nothing more than criminal, a serious misconduct. One day governments everywhere will have to declare it a crime!
Ha Ha, It is funny no one really means what they say on that site because it is not a real "social site" how do I know this I been on YouTube what 5 years? made YouTube poops come across with countless troll people if they make comments on my video I block them or just remove the comment and there gone from the world "If you ask a troll whats the best way to deal with Trolls they will say don't respond to us" but if most of the people you come across as Gilda's it does become hard. "Talk to your bronies, watch some ponies for a better day" ... oh well I hope you have a great day.
This video I saw that, for somone to make a cartoon of a child beaten to death, this person is not well. All I can say is to pray for them.
I don't know about making it illegal, but some instincts need to be abandoned, genetically and artificially destroyed. Especially the instincts that fuel the creation of stereotypes. But I admit I was cracked up by the Rainbow Dash doll wearing glasses and smoking a cigarette.
I don't really think the video is really too offensive. It seems to be taken much more seriously than it's ment to be (people have made other parodies on the same subject that didn't cause that much trouble) and I'm pretty sure that the people who hate the show aren't going to take the stereotype as shown in that video for the truth because as far as I know nobody really compares bro(w)nies to murderers (and is serious about it), with the exception of that 'better hobby than terrorism' comment (which still wasn't really that serious).
I found it kind of funny, but then again, I don't know why anyone would even beleive that this is MEANT to be taken seriously. The guy had a mushroom growing out of his finger for Celestia's sake XD I just wish haters would research what they're hating a bit before skip, hop, and a jumping upon the hater bandwagon. (Points for you if you get the reference in this sentence) By the way, I totally cracked up at the smoking, sunglasses wearing Rainbow dash too XD
