Snow chuckled as she went through her armies caimpain season camp, it had all gone quite nicely, and telling her name is a cherry on top. She knew Ceasar was vengeful, and the ambush would likely anger him immensely. Her army knew the Everfree like the back of their hoove, they knew every spot, every area an army could go through, everything. The Everfree had become a deathtrap ever since she took command of the army based there, she's lead the ambush and near annialation of several Ceasarion armies, along with several important leaders. She walked into her command tent and counted the number of commanders she's killed and sent their heads to Ceasar. She's killed at least 7 Decanus', 4 centurions, and 2 Prima Centurions, her thoughts drifted to the commander she had faced on the road. She remembered his isginia and reconized it as a legate's, Maybe I can kill him, so I can say I have killed one of every rank! She thought. And also the thought of Caesar's face of recieving a legate's head on a gilded platter was priceless.
(have i been warped with the thundermanes, since Snow didn't knew about my presence...? Let's say not, it'll be funnier.) Masquerade opened big wide eyes as he was teleported. He just blinked his eyes, but it wasn't his imagination. And wasn't it the general, out there? She yelled her name, 'Snow'. He walked to her, and bowed. "Greetings, General. My name is Masquerade, and i've been hired as a mercenary in the Thundermanes. Maybe you saw me in the fight, i had killed eleven Imperial soldiers. That's it for my report."
Snow nodded towards the pony who had approached her, "Alright, but in my army, I don't like to give away mercenaries. We dress the same, we train the same, and we fight together. If you are going to make it in my army, you are going to have to be ready for the work of your life." She pointed to a fairly large tent just across from her's, "Get your armor and equipment there and report to Coronel Firestreak, he should be down by the training area. Now move it soldier!"
"I already have my armor and weapons, General. And, i know we don't really know each other already, but my name is Masquerade; I'd be pleased if you could call me this way." He bowed one last time, smiled, and went to the training tent, regardless the general. He had no trouble finding it, there was a sign writing 'training' next to the entry. He went inside, and found the pony wearing a colonel's helm. "Greetings, Colonel. I'm Masquerade Butcher, Mercenary hired by one of your superiors, Scribb GoldQuill. I've heard i had to report to you?"
"Ug, another mercenary? Gah, Snow has told those guys we don't need help, but oh well. Look, I don't care if you somehow survived some battle before, but you will not survive if you do not follow our lead. This is an ambush army, and if you do not do as we do, you take one face step, and you or all of us are dead, I want you to go through the course so I can get a better idea of your skills. Now get in there!" Coronel Firestreak yelled.
"I must warn you. I've got a lot of expertises. I'm the best to pickpocket, and a fabulous spy, while the next second i'm working my way in an army with an axe. So here's your wallet, and please, next time lock the chest under your seat. It's unsafe to keep such things unlocked.", Said Masquerade, handing the wallet to the Colonel.
The Coronel smiled as he took back his wallet, "Good, I know just where to put you. You shall be one of our 'agents' ponies planted in Imperial armies to wreck havoc and cause choas, you will be perfect for the position." Snow looked over her map, all over the place, the Thundermanes were obtaining victory after victory. For the first time, the stalemate had a true chance of being broken, in the favor of the Thundermanes. Her army was the closest to the Imperial City, but far too small to assualt it. Snow knew what she had to do, a crushing blow to the Imperials and absoulete victory for the Thundermanes, the killing of Ceasar himself. She teleported from the camp to the main Thundermane headquarters, she took a deep breath, and pushed the door opened to the war tribunal.
Masquerade's mask changed for 'the warrior'. "Maybe it isn't my place. Could you handle me a sword? Not a toy. A real sword."
Firestreak pulled his sword from its scabbard and tossed it to Masquerade, "Show me what you can do to that hay dummy over there." Snow stood before the war tribunal, "Honarable Tribunals, I request you put me in command of an army capable of assualting and taking the Imperial City itself. Impossible, you think, but we have been handed a great oppurtinity, the Imperial Spring Offensive has been crushed with brutal efficency, leaving the Imperial Army much weaker than ever before. Caesar won't give any hint on it, but he is hurting, my scouts report that his people are turning against him, this long war has drained their will to fight and they're tired of taking the massive casulties and costs of war. I say all it will take is one strong push, one strong kick to the front door, and the whole rotten stucture will come tumbling down. If we kill Caesar, I doubt they will fight for much longer than that." The three ponies in front of her went into deep discussion, and after several nerve-wracking minutes, they finally turned back to Snow. "We shall grant you the invasion force, on one condition, come back with Caesar's head, or not at all." Said the middle one. Snow smiled and bowed before the Tribunal, "Thank you, I shall not disappoint you, my Tribunes." she said before exiting. (Saul, Crimson is planning on wrapping up this rp soon, so can we skip ahead a bit?)
(what about a fast-forward to that part where we arrive at Ceasar's palace, where we have to make our way through his personal guard and kill him?)
(Well, he messaged me, and first Snow has to fight the Legate, but yea.) The smoke of the Imperial city filled the sky, the city was ablaze, as all sorts of large projectiles were fired into the city by catapults as Thundermane troops poured over the walls and through the gates, flooded the streets and buildings with a sea of bodies. Snow lead a company up the stairs to the royal palace with one thought in mind, the killing of Caesar. Once they reached the top however, an old foe stood, the Legate from the forest. Snow growled at him, "Move it and surrender, your fighting a lost cause, even if you kill me, there's a whole army behind me that will thirst for even more blood if you kill me. All I want is Caesar, and you will go free."
(You are in the company, but try not to interfere, you will be kinda back up. Crimson and I already planned this, what is to be determined is if I survive or not.)

( The battle is 2 months after the Everfree ambush. Saul can aid Snow when the fighting happens and Cobra can join) (Ps.Caesar is a Alicorn) " At last we meet again Snow, the army's of the Thundermanes dont know the full truth about the reign of lord Kaisar." Caesar then walked to legate Venquis. "This shall the first time that a non-imperial has seen my true power, you should feel honoured" Caesar said to Snow and Masquerade. His body began to glow and began to transform. His mane and tail literally became a red fire, his eyes then became dead black with red pupils, his wings grew to increase his flight speed and his overall magic power level increased 10 fold. "THIS IT IT, YOU CAN LEAVE NOW SNOW IF YOU WANT TO LIVE !!!" Caesar shouted at the top of his lungs Venquis also had his blood stained Blade of South with him, and had 1,000 of the Imperial empires best soliders with him. This is the battle to end all battles.
Masquerade smiled behind his 'Harlequin' mask. "Excuse me, O lord Ceasar, but does it means that you'll spare my life? I mean, i have nothing to do with the thundermanes, since my contract ended at the same exact second as i've helped Snow to arrive here. As a neutral civilian living under your reign, you must let me live, no?". He discretly whispered to Snow, "Don't worry, i've got a plan for you to at least approach him. Take me as an hostage, and dare him to engage a fair duel."
*Sigh* "if you wish to do so" Caesar said to Masquerade. Caesar then sent a telepathic message to Venquis. "If he attacks, kill him and finish off the others, Ill deal with Snow."
