I'd have to agree with Sparky. I wouldn't want that to be related to being a Brony. My opinion is that Kony should not be loved or tolerated.
I dont know why, but this whole Kony thing has sorta irritated me. I feel like all the people who suddenly want to help are doing it just to jump on the bandwagon, as opposed to actually caring. I mean, im happy that its getting all of the attention, i guess im just a little disappointed that the attention and caring its receiving isnt really sincere. And thats my rant for the night.
well, I'd say even with name similarity, we keep ponies out of this for couple of reasons: 1) This isn't about fun and games, there are people out there that really need help 2) Kony is supposed to be publicized as bad personality, and putting ponies that are all about love and tolerance could have 2 reactions, and both of them bad (1) thinking Kony is good, 2) thiking ponies and bronies are bad) 3) however we could have out own campaign, but still, not all people on internet are bronies, and I'm pretty sure most of people on internet already are aware of bronies and ponies, so ramming ponies into their faces wouldn't be so nice from us. Yes, to us it may be fun to see, but to some non bronies could be irritating.
And also that Kony 2012 is just a money-making scheme. While this is really happening in Africa, we're donating to a cause that lines it's own coffers. If you want to donate, donate to the actual government of Northern Uganda.
Yeah I don't want to associate ponies with this much. In my opinion the guy is killing people and kidnapping Children, Not even death is a punishment worthy of him.
