(Sorry to pop in)I like this idea. And there could be an epic battle on a corrupted battle scarred wasteland with the monsters at the end.*Ninja's out*
Well, since you mentioned it, the final battle was just going to be against one insanely powerful goddess (It's not who you think. ... It's not her, either.)
I edited my last post. Let the show go on! I also edited my original post in this thread. You all have stats now! Huzzah!
Thank you, Eight Star! I was actually looking for the perfect time to mention Aspect Stones, and you just sat it right in my lap! Edit: And now things just got dark. Have fun.
Grey Mane personality sort of... Only if she ends up having to fight though. She may be mean and a thief but not really a murderer. Also LOVE the aspect of Shadows!
This is getting disturbing. Then, it is labelled "cosmic horror"... lol, this does seem strikingly similar to a story from Mansions of Madness. Silver is going to need his aspect, seems like shields may come in handy. And he is certainly not going to harvest aspect stones. In fact, he probably won't even be killing anypony on purpose. He is, after all, a defender.
Well, we died. I was Harvey Walters, went at one of those creepy worm things with dual spells, plus the Voice of Ra, and lost. And then we had two monster "explosions" because a gate appeared in the Woods three times in a row, the terror was up to "6" in the first three turns, though I didn't quite understand how that happened from how the person teaching us explained it. But yeah, we epically LOST.
I've heard that dying is actually one of the better things that can happen to your character in those types of games. :derpe: That being said, death is a possibility in this campaign, but not likely if you all play well.
Yes. I, for one, will be watching your moves very closely (there's still that Sanity mechanic I mentioned earlier). Also, PsychoPunk, I put your pony's stats on the first page. Hey, have any of you played Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth? That was a fun game. Especially the part where the guy was staying in the hotel in Innsmouth and... Oh, heh. Nevermind.
So I recognized the name of the University that we're all from. Yes, yes I did, Quill. You are naughty! Not even a pony-fied version of the name! xD Just kidding. It was pretty funny; as the person explained the game to us, I just randomly shouted, "Heeeey, I know that name! That's--" and then my friends were all like "SSSHHHHHH!!!". Lol, none of them had any idea what I was talking about, naturally.
