''I turned it, and noticed the mask. Unity's logo. And, when i smashed it, i found something that may be a GPS. Maybe you already heard about my father's murder, not so long ago. It took me time to cope, because i knew Unity had something to do with it. And i remember that mask behind his badge too. Makes me think about Twi's 'disparition', as we could call it. Maybe you'll say i'm beeing a little paranoiac, but i think Unity striked again.''
"I don't think you're paranoid, I think you're being logical. But if you're right and Unity did get them... Well, let's just say that we may end up seeing your father a little too early." Raven slid some of the metal pieces over, flipping them. "Oh, no... Ashes, whatever of those metal chunks you have, get rid of them. It wasn't what was underneath the badge that was the GPS. It's the metal."
''Yeah. But if it's destroyed, i fear a random Unity division may come by and shot us... And i don't want them to know about that place. It's a great hideout, and we may need one, if things goes wrong. For now, i suggest we go at my father's home, where he got kiled, to find evidence about Unity. Then, look for twi and the others. Sounds like a good plan?'' There was a big shatter-sound, and the univesre barrier tore to make a large hole next to Ashes. ''Oh, and here's a friend of mine guys. I'm leaving him the pleasure to introduce himself.''
Dark Shine stepped out of the hole and shut it, then turned to the others. "Hi. The names Dark Shine. Nice to meet you."
''I thought we could go on my father's murder scene. Maybe we'll find something about Unity there. Wouldn't it be a good idea, my friend?''
Dark Shine tapped his chin, the spread his wings out. "Why are we waiting then? I can cover any high locations." He shrugs. "Not that I'm good at this sort of thing..."
Ashes's body faded, and in the blink of en eye, he turned in ashes. ''I suppose we could go, and i'll manage to find some place to hide the GPS-thing. I'll send you two some files when we'll be at the office, and i'd want you to check them if there isn't anything on Unity encoded in them. If we ain't back tomorrow, consider us dead or captive.'' The ashes started to morph into a pony form, but instead of a horn, he had wings. ''I'm ready. Let's go~''
Alchemy returned from the bases Lab and handed back Raven's modified scattergun. "here, you go raven a modified version of your scattergun repaired, faster, holds more rounds and is way more accurate". *Packs his silenced m16 rifle into a suitcase and turns towards Ashes. "Lets go".
"The Scattergun was in my bag..." Raven looked over at Alchemy. "Don't ever go through my bag again. Last time someone did, it suddenly contained a box of apple juice, a CD with some very low quality music on it and a cat in a box. I still don't know if it's alive or dead..." He picked up the Scattergun, testing the weight and how it was going to be held. It was exactly the same as before, with some minor adjustments to just in front of the lever. A round barrel was there now. "Say thanks to whoever did this for me. Ashes, I'm not going unless Darkshine can make another of those hole things to get me there. Large bounty on head, I don't need more people chasing me."
Ashes shook his head. ''Oh, it was me who made it. And it would be too long to make it again. Takes a several days to make theses, and we don't have much time. Plus, it takes a lot of energy, more than i can have right now. We could use the storm sewers to get to there, i know them per heart. Don't ask why.''
"your not the only one who knows the sewers off by heart, the f.e.r use them alot for getting one place to another and hiding the bodies. I can't even tell you how many unity agents ended up down there finally before we go let me show you something". Goes to a medium room "gentlecolts, may I introduce you to the unity storage room, holds. Every unity ranks armour from recruit to base commander and the different types of unity weapons from the humble pistol to a massive fully automatic rpg".
"So that's what we may have to deal with? Impressive. I knew they had great stuff, but this... We'll have to be really carefull." Ashes took a pistol from one of the two holsters he had on his hips, and sprayed ashes on it. The gun molded into an english old magnum, holding eight rounds of pure silver bullets. "Let's see what you guys have before we go."
Dark Shine reached into his saddlebag and pulled out a necklace of two Pegasi in the same shape as his Cutie Mark. "I have this. Or rather, I guard it. Its called the Dual Pegasi Amulet." He shrugged. "Thats about all."
Raven didn't bother asking any questions about the sewers. He knew why they would be so important and good for travelling. Dark, quiet and you wouldn't want to go there unless you had a reason. When they got to the Unity storage room, he felt right at home. He grabbed a six-shot revolver and it's holster off the wall, and started looking through the bag for some spare electronics and the explosive rounds that he'd taken. "Now, where's the button? And the signal transmitter? And the wires? Why do I keep so much stuff in here?" He mutter to himself. He eventually found them and started connecting them to the revolver.
"We should hurry. I'd like to investigate before Unity guys clean up the crime scene. If you want to build up your arsenalB take your time, and catch up later." Ashes turned towards the shattered hole, still opened. "And i think i could change the destination point to a sewer entrance, near the place where the murder happened. Just give me a few seconds, and we'll be ready to go..."
Dark Shine stretched his wings, then put on the amulet. "I'm ready." He looked back to the two he did not know. "Dont expect me to fight much."
"don't Worry dark, I deal with non fighters all the time they mostly work as messengers or surveillance" Picks up his m16 hidden in a briefcase "let's go".
Raven finished tinkering with the revolver and placed it in the holster, which he strapped around his chest. That is, if it was his chest... Memories had a way of confusing the way you thought. He brushed the idea beside, and made sure the holster and the revolver (which now acted as a detonator) wouldn't fall off. "Let's go for a underground walk."
''Okay, the passage won't stay open for long, so let's hurry. 3, 2, 1... Now!'' The hole flashed in a bright yellow light, and we could see sewers through it. Ashes jumped in, and took one of his two revolvers from his left holster at the other side.
Steel (wanting to be more desecrate) changed into some unity armour grabbed a unity issued assault rifle and jumped into the portal thing. "now come on don't be lazy". ((this is what the armour looks like just imagine it White, red and ponyfied And the rifle (White and red): ))
