This bill will crash and burn. It has no chance to pass. They can't be this stupid, but then it is the government.
The most messed up thing is that the people are supposed to be in control of what goes on in the United States, not the government.
I know, but that will never happen. For the people,by the people. What's that? Stupid government. -- Sent from my Palm Pre using Forums
Power to the people? Last I checked, corporate entities had power in capitalist Driven governments. I thought that was a given.
Seriously, banks just rule the world now. Yes :derpe: Very true. (Love your new icon by the way, did I inspire you? XD)
Heard a rumour that Obama might veto it. No source on it yet though. I also heard Ron Paul is against the bill. http://arstechnica.com/tech-policy/...ancy-pelosi-ron-paul-join-sopa-opposition.ars Though, it may still pass because congress does not seem to have the intention of being democratic. http://www.yousaytoo.com/congressional-sopa-hearings-no-opponents-of-the-bill-allowed/1434936 This seriously grinds my hooves, america seriously risk facism if this is the way congress act. Though, it seems Equestria Daily rallies people against the bill. http://www.equestriadaily.com/2011/11/stop-online-piracy-act-sopa.html Edit. Any american who opposes the bill can sign the following petitions. I would reccomend it for anypony who values this community. https://wwws.whitehouse.gov/petitio...on-making-internet-unalienable-right/YJ3fXQcm http://americancensorship.org/ Ok, seems like none americans can sign the second one, did so myself
I swear, Dr. Ron Paul might be the only hope this country has anymore, sadly most media giants has been blocking him out from the public's eye for his "crazy" opinions and views.
Yes your government does suck. Our isn't much better though; 13% Harmonized Sales Tax (on everything, almost) And Income tax rates as high as 50% Are a testament to that fact. Where is all this money going? ... Constantly repairing the 401. Because doing it right once is overrated. Also nice vacations. For the elected party members of course.
I have a solution to this problem. Clearly we must make a.. Super Internet Cable. So teh internetz can fit thru it beter.

This bill normally wouldn't bother me, but when I remember it's being signed by the same dimwits who decided it was smart AND important to decide that pizza was a vegetable, then I'm worried. If pro and con are opposites then the opposite of progress is congress.
