Into the Everfree (for Pinkly Smooth)

"Her." Bolt said. "I met you because she led me to the Everfree..."

 

"W-who?", Xeno asked

 

"Who do you think?" Bolt asked

 

"Your mom?", Xeno asked

 

Bolt shook his head and pointed at the sky

 

"Who?", Xeno asked curiously

 

"Yours." Bolt said. "But she's not here long...my magic is almost drained..."

 

"She showed you to me? But how?"

 

"One day...she just started speaking with me...and she told me her daughter was waiting for the right stallion...and that I should meet her...on the edge of the forest. That she was shy but sweet, and amazingly beautiful. She said I might be able to help you heal...that my power...would give you safety from your fears. How could I refuse? You sounded amazing...and you surpassed thay standard." Bolt said

 

"Y-you told me you thought I was just a joke, & you didn't take me seriously at first…"

 

"She told me not to reveal to you. She didn't want you to be distracted from getting married. From being happy. That's all she wanted...and I can only hope I helped reach her goal." Bolt said

 

"Didn't you tell me after we were married?"

 

"Xeno...she told me I could tell you this morning...while you were asleep. I meditated...and we talked..." Bolt defended himself

 

"Alright, well, c-can you please not lie to me?"

 

"This time...I'm not...and I've been lying to protect you." Bolt said. "I promise."

 

"Even if it's to protect me, I feel like you don't trust me when you lie…", Xeno said softly

 

"I do. I just don't want to make you sad...ever." Bolt said

 

"But it makes me sad when you lie…"

 

"I'll be honest...from now on." Bolt swore

 

"Thank you…", Xeno said, kissing bolt
