"That's not a bad idea..." Discord said, still chuckling, "We could still do that, only with someone who knows they're giving up false information." He looked at Riker. "Bartenders are famous for being sources of rumour and gossip; if anyone can spread deceit, it's you." He didn't think it'd be necessary for this first part of the plan, but it might come in handy later... (I did kind of think about Octavia reacting to being in a different body, but I thought having her flailing helplessly in the corner might slow down the RP a little. Besides, it didn't seem to give Riker too much trouble when he was ponified...)
"I don't see that working. I haven't shown any signs of being disloyal to Usagi. Why would they believe I'd betray her. I mean that fact that I'm working for a woman alone would give them a reason to believe I'm not on the up and up." Not that he was against disinformation. It was a legitimate strategy, but for it to work they needed a better liar. He could bluff in a game of poker just fine, but this wasn't poker. "..." Usagi thought about Discords plan and Riker's rebuttal. "I think Mr. Riker is right. If he tried to pull me off the Sheriff then maybe it could of worked, but since he just kept to work. I don't think the sheriff would fall for it. He's dumb, but not that dumb." [How hard is it for you to walk on fours? It's a point of balance. Four is more stable than two, but going the other way around. There's also the fact that ponies don't slap people in the face.]
Discord shrugged. They had a point, but he wasn't sure they'd need to double bluff their enemies here anyway; his mind was strange, but it wasn't that complex. He coughed. "We're getting off track, I think; where is the carriage going to be parked? We need to find out and plan the most direct route from it to the cellar; we don't want to be caught moving the goods. I also think we need to switch the cargo, send the carriage off with a load of rubbish on board to be discovered at a later date, so we'll need to secure something appropriate to load into it." This was getting more difficult by the minute, and they only had until sundown to get everything ready... (I'd agree, but Octavia stands on her hind legs to play anyway, so she's clearly got the balance already: Spoiler As for slapping, I could swear there's been at least one slap somewhere in the show, but I may be wrong.)
Usagi walked into the kitchen she found a lot of things she'd never seen before. Although it's not like she normally spent a lot of time in kitchens. In several cupboards she found unused jars of homemade jam. Why would they need so much jam? [Supported vs Unsupported.]
"What are you doing in here?" Discord asked, wandering into the kitchen. "This is no time for baking!" (I don't think she's being supported by the contrabass; can't run your hand/hoof smoothly up the neck of an instrument if you're griping it for support) Spoiler
"I'm taking stock of what we have. I'm six you expect me to know how to cook? Mommy won't even let me near a toy oven. I can make a PB&J, but I have to use a spatula cause mommy doesn't like me playing with knives." (She's leaning into it to help her keep balance. Or that's how it looks.)
"Well I don't know; you seem very advanced for a six year old," Discord said, scratching his head. "So what have you found? Potion of invisibility? Some drug that will make the sheriff more suggestible?" He gasped, looking hopeful. "A kumquat!?" (Maybe. Although she's still holding her contrabass at the moment, so it kind of makes the whole discussion moot )
At the moment she was in a adult body, but she was still just six. There were things she knew she wasn't ready for. Like sword training. Grimlock taught her unarmed combat, but she wasn't allowed to use a sword yet. Still she could probably take the Sheriff. At mention of Mr. Discord's favorite fruit she noticed there was a barrel of them in one corner of the kitchen. Or at least that was what the barrel was labeled. She pointed at the barrel. "Maybe." [She brought it with her when she slapped Riker?]
(I thought Riker went over to her? You can still slap someone while holding a contrabass!) "Ooh!" Discord went over to the barrel excitedly. Prying off the lid, he was disappointed to find it contained no kumquats. What it did contain was a man, who appeared to be asleep, and a collection of empty larger cans. Judging from his clothes, he was a lawman, and his badge read Federal Marshall. Well that might be useful; someone the sheriff would have to listen to! But something about the man in the barrel seemed familiar to Discord; he looked at his dreadlocks, and was hit with a horrible feeling that if the man spoke, it would be with a Liverpudlian accent... "Oh monkey trumpets," Discord moaned, "Why him?!" (I was going to just have marshal's outfits in the barrel, but then I realised everyone already knows what our characters look like, so we needed a stranger, and seeing as how they're in the kitchen, thought Discord might think of Dave XD)
(No Riker stayed behind the counter in case a customer came in. He was talking across the room to her. That's why he made the observation. Am I controlling Dave or you? Your free too since this is your head. I'm not sure how to make Dave sound like a lawman really.)
(Oh, okay XD Oh well... You can control Dave since he's your character, and I don't really like having conversations between two characters I control. Just have him sound like Dave; I want the sheriff to be annoyed by him, but to have to pay attention due to his rank )

In a barrel labeled fish that sat next to the Kumquat barrel a dark skinned person with pointy ears and dressing in a fancy Mexican ensemble popped up. The person dusted off some fishbones from his clothes. "Is it breakfast time yet bud? I haven't eaten since I got in this barrel." "Why were you in that barrel?" "Dummy there lost our horses in a card game. The only way we could get to this town was to sneak into this shipment for your place." Cat looked at the clothes worn by the other two in the kitchen. "I hope Kriton and Rimmer can find us soon the fashion of this time period is terrible." Hearing Cat awake woke Lister up. He got out his barrel. "You know if you hadn't short circuited the Time shower with that marking Spray of your's we wouldn't be in this situation." "If it's mine, I have to mark it." [I'm playing them as they got stuck in the past. I acutally planned on doing a Red Dwarf level. So I guess there will be inter-continuity between the level.]
Discord frowned and looked down at his outfit. He thought it looked quite dapper... He wasn't quite sure what to make of this turn of events, so he simply responded in the manner that seemed most appropriate. "What did you do with my kumquats!?" He demanded, glaring at the less flashy of the two. (Crap, yeah I thought you probably would, but I forgot for a moment when I brought in Dave... Oh well, I'm sure we can make it work. I'm not sure if Discord should know who they are; he knew the Star Trek crew, and he seems to know enough to make pop culture references about other stuff, and if they're in his mind, I guess he'd kind of have to know who they are. I was originally going for Dave being Glass House Dave, who Discord's already met, but now we seem to have actual Dave, so I'm kind losing track )
"I dump them out. I need room for me and my beer. Cat who's this Smeghead." "How should I know. I just got up too. When can we arrest that Trueblood guy?" "We need evidence first."
Discord growled in annoyance. "My name's Discord, and I'm the smeghead whose smegging head you're in!" He stopped glaring as he realised what they'd said. "Wait, you're already planning to arrest Trueblood? Huh. I was expecting to have to talk you into it..."
"What kind of Smegging name is Discord. Discord is a word not a name." "Er, how is he a marshal?" She didn't exactly know what Lister and Cat were doing in Discords head, but if she had to guess, his subconscious interacted with hers. He was thinking of Dave the cook, but her subconscious interfered and brought about Dave the Dwarfer. "Dave's terrible at cards. The Marshal didn't want to arrest this Trueblood guy cause he thought it be dangerous so he made a bet with Lister. When Dummy lost the hand he became the Marshal and we have to arrest the Trueblood guy." "I am not terrible at cards. I'm a genius at cards." "You always choke. Every time you have a winning hand you choke." [How am I doing so far, do they sound like Dave and Cat?]
"First they insult my clothes, then they insult my name?" Discord crossed his arms and pouted. "You two are lucky I don't have my powers..." He sighed and rolled his eyes. "I don't suppose either of you two geniuses actually have a plan for taking down Trueblood, do you?" (Yeah! Keep throwing in a few 'bud's, acts of preening, and maybe a couple more exclamation marks for Cat, and you're golden. Probably helps that I'm reading your words in their voices XD)
"He's got this shipment coming in. Supposedly there are some stolen goods on it. A jeweled Kumquat for one from some former foreign royalty who tried to homestead on land Trueblood been grazing on. The land didn't belong to Trueblood, the foreign guy was legally on the land, but someone ransacked his home to scare him off. We find it before it gets to Truebloods ranch and we've got our evidence. Then it's just a mater of arresting him. Then me and cat stop being Lawmen and wait for Rimmer and Kryton to find us." Lister felt his throat and stuck out his dry tounge. "Can I get a pint, normally it's Kryton's job to give the exposition." "While you're getting his drink I still want my fish. I'm hungry!"
