"Did it make us do that? Hmm, I must have forgotten. Oh well, up the hill seems like the best option here!" Discord announced, "We're so close I can practically hear the kumquats!" He started walking up the hill.
Usagi thought about what Discord just said and then shook her head. While following the avatar of chaos up the hill she pictured Discord eating the kumquats with his ears.
"Ooh, this is exciting!" Discord said as they reached the top of the hill. There in front of them was the golden kumquat tree; Discord reached up to grab one of the kumquats, but the branch jerked out of his grasp at the last moment. Frowning, he tried to grab it again, with similar results. "Stop that! Didn't anyone ever teach you it's rude to grab?" The tree demanded.
"Tree!? I am no mere tree! I am the king of trees, and if you wish to take my fruit, you must pay me tribute!" The tree declared, grandly. "Um," Discord though for a moment. What would a royal tree want? As he rubbed his temple in thought, the answer struck him. Well, more prodded him really, in the side of the face; the Red Queen's crown! He was still wearing it as a ring, and what king doesn't like a crown? He pulled the tiny crown off his claw and stuck it over the nearest twig. "Ha ha! Let's see the other trees deny my legitimacy now!" The tree cheered, dropping a golden kumquat into Discord's waiting hands.
"Um, it's not a crown it's ring that looks like a crown. They can still argue." So when would they move on to the next level. What would the next level be? Jem, Weird Al, Babylon 5.
"Usagi!" Discord glanced worriedly at the tree, then held the kumquat aloft, starting the transition to the next level. (Not sure if you were asking me, but I have no preference as to the next level theme; I'm gonna be familiarizing on the fly either way XD)
As the world came into focus Usagi recognize there new location as the bridge of the USS Enterprise NCC-1701 no bloody A,B,C, or D. She never understood the prase, but her mommy used it whenever talking about the original Enterprise. She was a human adult, her hair in what Blossom called the dead bird style. She was surprised to be dressed as the ship's doctor. Looking about she saw Kirk, Spock Sulu, Checkov, Uhura, and Q? Was Discord Q? He sounded like Q normally. [Discord is Q with Q's powers but he can't assume his true form. Nah I wasn't asking just giving Usagi something to think about until you confirmed the level was complete. I already have a few levels planed and they aren't among the ones listed. ]
(Gotcha. On both counts.) "Oh, now this feels familiar," Discord said, walking around the bridge. "Or, perhaps it will feel familiar, either to myself in the future, or to some other facet of my being." He shrugged and turned to the others assembled on the bridge. "No matter. Now, which one of you is Usagi?"
"What... is... going... on ... here.... Who... are... you... and... what... do... you... want... with... Dr. Convoy." "Captain, I believe something is very wrong here. You acting in the maner of a bad characture of yourself. Is this your doing stanger?" Usagi surpressed a giggle. Spock was blaming Captain Kirks low speak on Mr. Discord. She then watcbed Sulu rip off his shirt and pull out a sword from no where. "Mr. Spock should I escort this stranger of the bridge?" "I... am... the...Captain..., and... I... want... some... answers... first...." "Fasinating." "Jim and Mr. Sulu are acting irrational and all you can say is fasinating?" That was something Dr. Mccoy would say, right? "It appear Doctor, that I too am suffuring from the same abnormality."
"Ah, I think I see what's going on here; I think we're going to have to discover the reason for this strangeness, explain it in the form of a simple simile, then come up with a solution." Discord pondered for a moment. "Something tells me I'm not going to be entirely helpful in this endeavour, however..." He said, with a slight smile.
"I do not believe so Q, more than likely this is not in fact reality and our over acting is cause by the creator of this world only remembering certain aspects of our personality." Spok paused thinking about what he just said. How did he know what he knew... and why what Chekov singing 'Cheer up Sleepy Jean.'. "It would appear that I, because of my overwhelming logic am the Dues Ex Ma china." "What... are ... you... talking.... about ... Mr. .... Spok." "There are Klingons on the starboard bow, starboard bow, starboard bow." Like her mommy she was more a fan of TNG, but Kimitsu was a fan of the original Star Trek. So maybe that's why things were so mess up? But what was there mission? Did it have something to do with Klingons or what that just because Star Treking was stuck in her head. [Sorry longer post are hard to do on my Vita, so I'm going to be slow till the computer I ordered arrives. I'm at a library right now.]
(That's ok. And just fyi, I have a working knowledge of the original series, but I'm more of a fan of TNG too, so apologies if I don't get some of the references. Oh, and your Shatner is hilarious XD ) "Klingons? Ugh, such uncouth, humourless creatures," Discord complained, unsure even as he said it as to how he knew that.
"Uhura ... them ...we... come... in... peace..., Sulu ....shoot... to... kill...." Yep, she had Star Trekin stuck in her head that wasn't the mission. So what could be the mission. "Spock, if this is all in some ones head, what would be the point?" "That is a good question Doctor. I wish I knew the answer." [For what Usagi has stuck in her head see below.]
"Perhaps these can help?" Discord suggested, conjuring up a Tribble and stroking it. (Yes, I thought it seemed familiar...)
"I am afraid Q, it would seem too late for that as Mr. Sulu had already blown up their ship." "It's too bad I couldn't have slice them up with my sword."
Usagi watched Mr. Sulu start to slice up tribbles as the captain sat in his chair. Mr. Chekov started singing 'I'm a Believer' and Uhura was looking at Mr. Spock like her sister does. But that was from the new moives not the old show. They were definitely in the old show. Spock was defiantly Lenard Nemoy and Kirk was a young Shatner. "Curious I suddenly got the urge to sing about a hobbit."
As Discord looked around for some connection between these strange occurrences, he thought he could see an odd red bar across the bottom of his vision. "Uh, Usa- Doctor Convoy, do you think you could focus a little?" He asked, as Sulu liberated him from the Tribble pile. Usually he appreciated chaos of this nature, but even he had his limits.
"Bots?.... Does... this... W... know... you?" "His name captain is Q, and he is a life form but not as we know it. I believe he knows all about us." Spock looked at Bots and then gave it some thought, since when was Dr. Usagi 'Bots' Convoy there Doctor? Wasn't there someone else? That must be the source of there current existence. Bots was misremembering there previous one. Q spoke of a mission, something they must do before moving on to another reality maybe? "Doctor, if you could do something about our current predicament please do." "Um right...." Usagi pulled out a can of frozen orange juice and stared at it. In a moment the Bridge reformed into the one from the new movies and while the crew were still there original series version they were now in their moive uniforms. Kirk however became overweight like his modern day self. "W did you do this? What's happen to the way I talk and why do I feel like coning people out of their money." [In Psych Shattner play a con man father to one of the lead characters.]
