I think what's been said from all parties except those who are being questioned are here, so I see no point in driving this issue further with me, personally.
not again... this site is dying quickly and I really don't think anyone can stop it... I wish it weren't so but it is... I have a feeling that within a month I'm gonna be searching for new forums...
I normally would just stay out of stuff like this but i'll just go and throw my two cents in and say that I really wish that this site go back to it roots and make it where it was more enjoyable to visit this Site/Forum. I Barely come to this site nowadays cause things around here have gotten stale for the most part. When I first joined back in 2011 of August, Things around here were very active, friendly and Helpful. Things started to change after early 2013. It seems like people are starting to form alliances with each other and so much drama is going on that I don't see why there is the reason why so many people are leaving. The Spirit of this forum is faded to the point where it will be lost but nothing will be done if someone would just speak and do something about. Easier said then done, right? Well yes but it doesn't have to be that way. Form a group or rally that take this concerns very seriously. I would hate to see this site go but where this train has been going, I'm starting to welcome it.
I have to agree with Turk here for the most part. I too try to avoid these discussions like these, probably in part because I'd rather not acknowledge what has happened to this place since I joined it. It's also been the reason why I haven't been on here much lately. I don't like the idea of ganging up on Eight and the others, especially when they aren't here to rebut. However, I can't deny that what has been said so far in this thread about the current leaders of this site doesn't reflect my own views on the issue. Leaders cannot lead from behind, nor can they lead without enthusiasm and dedication to the project they committed to. And they most certainly cannot lead without getting involved or without caring. And to me, that is what seems to be happening now. On a more personal note: Kuja, I saw you in a much better light back when you were Rarit-E, before you grew disconnected from the show and the fandom. I didn't like your newfound pessimism and I did not believe that a staff member for a fandom site could give said site the amount of caring and enthusiasm it deserves without being personally invested in the fanbase and the show that it's based on. I still believe that. However, a staff member also cannot be effective if they do not care about the site and its users, no matter how engrossed they are in the fandom. It's clear to me now that you do care about us and this site, and out of the two options it's clear that caring and dedication to the people you serve is probably far more important, and that is what I believe is lacking in today's administration. Well, that and having a direction in which to sail with a destination clearly in mind. I didn't know you well personally, and over the last year I've probably disagreed with your personal opinions more often than not. But you did your job well, and I can honestly say it doesn't please me to see you go. Although being the washed up, almost ex-member that I am, perhaps it's better that I didn't voice my opinion at all - so take it with a grain of salt.
