Crimson then looked at the photo once again, then nodded at Silver. The Society was given special privileges from the princesses to kill their enemies if they prove a danger high enough to shatter the entire kingdom and remove or kill the princesses. Being that his target was an Alicorn and that hundreds have already have been killed alone in mass homicide, he was not going to take any chances. "Dead"
Guardian slipped the ring back into his bag, and drew his swords. As he placed the rubies into a small hollow at the hilt of each sword, the blades began to glow. Within a few minutes, the enchantment took full effect and the blades burst into flames. Grinning, Guardian sheathed the swords. "This... is going to be fun."
Archangel nodded at Guardian but did not say goodbye, knowing that he would see him again within the next hour. He quickly got his sword, ammunition and other supplies and headed downwards to the shuttlebay. While in the usually dark but crowded hangar, Crimson went over to a small console and began to type in several codes. Once the computer performed several 'dings', the floor opened and out popped a motorcycle matching Archangel's colors of Black and Red. The shuttle doors opened as he seen the glass elevator of the rest of the society coming down towards the shuttle. After a few revs of the motorcycle, Archangel soon sped away from the shuttle door and headed towards Manehatten at the speeds roughly equivalent to a pegasus flight. To avoid traffic in tight areas, the bike could also glide across the air with wings. Within the first 10 minutes, he was already a quarter way to the city
(PLOT TWIST!) Vibrato stood opposite of Monarch with a cold glare in her eyes, The tension froze the air as each of them looked into the others eyes with out hesitation. She smile and started walking toward the dark grey alicorn, She stopped in front of him then bowed. "Lord Monarch, I have returned from the Justice Society to inform you that they have gotten wind of your location, Here is my detailed report of the society, Each members strength's and weaknesses have been recorded just like you've asked." She walked near his side as he was beginning to address his militia and put on her armor, She knew they would be here soon so there was no time to waste.
Monarch began to speak, his hood still providing a faceless appearance. He took the report and smiled as it soon disappeared in a puff of violet smoke. "We don't need this getting into the wrong hands now, do we? Don't worry, it's in save hooves." Monarch then turned his head to look at Vibrato as he began to walk towards a podium. "Get changed, they should be here soon." He then jumped onto a street as he heard the sound of a motorcycle engine as it loudly echoed across the area. Preparing himself, he quickly looked to his east and stared down the seemingly endless strip of road, waiting for the motorcycle's owner to arrive.
Guardian, flying overhead with Nightshade, easily kept pace with Archangel's motorcycle. As they drew closer to Manehatten, he suddenly realized that something was wrong. One of his teammates had been acting strangely. Try as he might, he could not remember which one it had been. He cursed inwardly, berating himself for not paying closer attention. He needed to warn the only pony that he was absolutely sure he could still trust. "Crim, we may have a problem. I'm getting a really bad vibe from this mission. There's a good chance Monarch knows we're coming."
Shift looked at the rogue alicorn, then cracked his neck. ''I shouldn't have had talked so much, and asked more about what i missed. Flying feathers...'' Shifting to his shadow self, his eyes glew a pure-white light. After a few seconds, large white scars appeared all around his body, emiting the same soft light. ''No time for plans, neither training. Hope i'm not too rusty...''
Crimson messaged Guardian back over his radio. "I have the same feeling as well, something isn't right." Crimson then tapped his ear while riding his motorcycle as he drew closer towards Monarch. "This is Archangel, Monarch is possibly expecting our arrival. Advise with caution. DO NOT ATTACK BEFORE THE GREEN LIGHT IS GIVEN !" Monarch stood in-front of his a hundred strong army as he lowered his hood for the first time since his arrival, revealing a grey Alicorn with a white mane and deep blue eyes. He could not only hear everything that was being said, but knew exactly what route they were taking. He grinned as he seen Archangel speed towards him several kilometers away on the long lonesome road followed by the others of the squad. He then raised his hoof into the air. "Kill all of them. Leave nothing alive."
Shift then jumped, to vanish in the ground. He then jumped from the ground outside, to start tunning towards Monarch, his white eyes frowning in happyness. He'll see blood tonight, and it would be for a ''good cause''.
"My lord, They have somepony named Joker at the HQ who is giving them your location, What should we do about him?"
Monarch turned around to see Shift appear and closed his hoof as four giant rings appeared behind him and trapped him, preventing him from moving or even functioning. The tighter the rings got, the more painful it would become until the rings themselves will enter the victims body until nothing is left. He then threw Shift like a ball, sending him hundreds upon hundreds of meters until he crashed unto the road below just as Archangel was speeding past. "Ok. Green light is activated, attack." Crimson then sped quickly towards Monarch pulling out his pistols as he closed the gap between them in seconds. However, something seemed strange as he watched Monarch do nothing. He felt like he was in a trance and his ears began to ring and a ferocious heat, but then he discovered what had happened. Barely five meters from the motorcycle when it happened, Monarch lifted his hoof and causes Archangel's motorcycle to explode while he was still on it. Crimson hit the ground hard as he was catapulted several dozens of meters from the fiery wreck. He watched Monarch's militia surround him, taking shots at him as the injured Crimson recovered slowly and began to dodge.
Guardian dove towards the spot where Archangel had crashed, setting Nightshade down and landing nimbly beside the injured Unicorn. He grinned sardonically at the soldiers surrounding them. "Hmm... there are three of us and two hundred of you. That doesn't hardly seem fair, does it? Tell you what... we'll wait right here, and you go ahead and call for backup. I'd say about a thousand more should make this a fair fight."
Hidden amongst the ranks, Vibrato began to emit an extremely high pitched noise to disorient, Guardian and Archangel. "Attack" She yelled to the surrounding soldiers.
Monarch smiled at Guardian as his soldiers began to fire upon Archangel. Archangel reacting and having the strength to dodge the bullets as he took out his pistols and began to return fire with near flawless accuracy. This took down some of the soldiers, but their firepower quickly made Crimson run towards cover. Monarch began to walk away from the fight, ignoring Guardian and heading towards Swift, whom was still trapped in the strange rings. He might as well finish off one of his enemies instead of having to wait. He could also just leave and allow his militia to take care of them, they were highly expendable. It was one of the luxury's of his order, the order that was going to take down Equestria.
Shift was surprised at first, seeing the impact would have killed him. But, seeing his form, a mix of tangible and intangible, he just laughed. His eyes flashed a bright white, and the white shadowy-scars disappeared for a short moment. He tried to escape the rings. (DM confirms?)
Guardian addressed the attacking soldiers. "I would loved to stay and continue this discussion, but it would seem that your master has decided run away. I am afraid that you will have deal with my colleague, instead. Nightshade... knock them out." As Dark Guardian flew after Monarch, Deadly Nightshade charged into the rank of his soldiers, biting and clawing furiously. Despite the ferocity of her attacks, she was able to disable her opponents without killing them.
"Uhh, Stupid mutt." Vibrato yelled to Nightshade,"Split up and go after Guardian, We dont need allot of soldiers to fight a dog, Go NOW!" She ordered
Archangel was using 'mercy rounds', highly powerful customized rubber bullets that can shut down a suspect's nervous system entirely. Head shots with this ammo were still lethal, but other areas can easily snap bones in half while causing immense pain with the destruction of muscle and the nervous system in that area in general. Archangel was taking down his enemies, but had his spellsword at the ready incase he ran out of ammo. Monarch stood above Shift and levitated him to his level and stared into his eyes. Shift, while trying to escape, had no effect on the rings that held him. Monarch looked into him as his eye's glowed for a brief second. All a sudden, Shift was screaming in agony as Monarch had turned his own thoughts and nightmares into an excruciating constant pain. The moment the glow in his eyes faded, he threw him once more into an abandoned building. Because he knew about him via the files, he was trying to get him to take down the Archangel.
