I suck at singing, but I'll participate if I can do it at a time when everyone else isn't here.

I need to get a laptop sooner or later.

Last time, we would record ourselves and upload to youtube, then leave the videos in a submittions thread or PM them to Foxytail, who then uploaded it to EPR and we all listened to each other through the radio.

 

The last one was a real hit so I don't see any reason to avoid doing another. I'll collar Derpy or Foxy about it when I see them.

 

I may or may not jump in, depending on how much time I can spare to record^^

 

When is this all due and stuff? Like I said, I would like to contribute, even though I sound like manure(although if i stay up long enough I can actually do low notes!).

 

There isn't a date yet as far as I know.
However I'd really like to do something special for this, so please give me some advance notice guys!

So, I just had an experiment, and, uh....I think I'm bowing out actually.

See, a song came out called Second Chances today and it's pretty amazing. One of the neat things about this is the guy prepped for people to remix it by including the four main parts of the song, which means there is actually a instrumental version consisting of the three of the four parts. For karaoke, truly pure instrumentals are godsends.

So, I did a trial run of the song, figuring it'd be one of the three or four songs I submitted, playing the song in one of my ears with some ear plug headphones while singing into the headset microphone(If you think this might effect quality, think again-that wasn't the issue), planning on finding out the timing of the song start and lining up the music from there. I wasn't expecting it to be great-my voice doesn't work for singing(which frustrates me since I enjoy singing) and between timing issues and a few word jumbles, it was bound to meh, but I reckoned some parts would sound good and the rest would be forgivable.

Surprisingly, I'm right in that I hit some parts really well. Purely by fluke, but there were seconds where it worked well.

But the rest was not mediocre. The rest was like the Cutie Mark Crusader's song. That obnoxious sort of noise, that exact sort.

I don't know if the rest of y'all are like me, but I have to take the headphones off and put them away from myself when they do that song. I assume you do, and therefore would not subject y'all to that. Sooooo...No real contributions, I respect y'all too much for that.

Unless some people wanna get on Skype with the Skype Recorder and do Winter Wrap Up. I have no idea what part I would do, but I am still all for that, since it's silly and fun and we're all bad together.

I would offer to join the fun but...my voice might elicit some harsh ear bleeding..I would love to listen in on this though.
