She hesitated, averting her gaze slightly. "I know it's stupid. I know it is," she said slowly. "I just... I can't help it." * * * "Yeah? Well, I'm downright irritated."
He reached down to kiss her. "I think I'm falling in love with you too." *** She wrapped her arms over his shoulders as best she could, hugging him.
She looked up at him with wide eyes, but when he kissed her, her whole body relaxed, her eyes fluttering closed, her hand coming up to run through his hair. * * * He frowned, looking down at her. "What are you doing?"
He kissed her slowly before pulling away gently. *** "I feel badly for irritating you," she replied. "I'm giving you a hug."
She looked up at him, her fingers slipping down to rest on his chest again before she sat up slightly, kissing along his collarbones. * * * "That's sweet, but uncomfortable."
After a moment, she came back up to him, her hands cupping his face. "You're blushing," she murmured, watching him with clear eyes. * * * "I just mean literally," he reassured her, entering the compartment and setting her down. "We weren't in a position to hug."
He looked flustered. "I know.." *** She relaxed slightly, following him in and hugging him properly. "Better."
She frowned, her thumb brushing his cheekbone. "Is this... bad? Do you not like it?" * * * He looked down in surprise, patting her back uncertainly. "What's going on?"
He kissed her hand. "No, of course I do." *** She looked up at him with a grin. "I'm sorry for irritating you."
She relaxed, watching him affectionately, reaching up to kiss him again. * ** "You didn't really irritate me, Starlight. Just stop bein' a weirdo."
He nodded, continuing to unbutton his shirt. *** She rolled her eyes playfully, a small smile on her face.
She watched him thoughtfully. "You're beautiful, Xav..." she murmured appreciatively. * * * He huffed, sitting next to her again. "Are you glad?"
She watched him more, but said nothing, looking at him expectantly. * * * He rolled his eyes. "Okay, well..."
