Hard to believe I won one, but then again 13 and I have always been buddy buddy. Okay I'm going to change things up just cause I like these when these are longer and well we've all been busier lately or forgetful so last post for a whopping 96 hours wins.
Thanks for taking it from me, Lio. (I'm not upset or anything, honest. And for the record, I don't celebrate Christmas. It's just that this always gets me chuckling whenever I watch it.
I feel kind of bad for Bowser. I didn't give a lick about him till he was turned into a girl. I still think Bowsette should be a redhead.
Along similar lines, it's kind of weird how I find Callista a more interesting character than my namesake.
So's Ambush, though it really tends to come up more often where the topic of family is concerned nowadays. In the past, he'd be more likely to abuse shape-shifting for pranks. Like say, for example, turning himself into some sort of substance that would let him sleep in a sheep-girl's sinuses without detection. Because yeah. That actually happened a few years ago. Ambush found it hilarious. Bahija didn't.
Long story short, there was this dragon-girl conqueror who showed up on the Muffin Continent years ago for a vacation (and to abduct Ellen, but mostly a vacation). Callista took offense to her existence for, er, multiple reasons and left her half-dead at the bottom of a newly-formed lake. One of MSF's then-regulars fished her out of the lake a year later, then Raleigh put the fear of him into her for threatening Ellen and slapped her with a Jusenkyo curse that turns her into a sheep-girl. There's a lot more to it than that, obviously, but I figured summarizing it was faster than just making you read about it. (Warning: the link might not be safe for work. I didn't want to take any chances when I posted it.)
Yeah. It's pretty much just Ookalf and myself now at MSF, and even that's just one thread. There's been talk for several years by a few people on our unofficial Discord of closing the forums and archiving the contents, but as of now they haven't gotten around to it yet.
I for one think Akemi was the downfall of the site. Once she took down the topsite fewer people had a reason to find it.
