We've gotten similar attempts in the past. The biggest clue that something was off was that it was our own phone number showing up on the Caller ID.
Spam calls are typically annoying. Especially if it's 5-10 times a day. If not more. However I shall not argue that THIS spam is tasty~
The Holy Grail was on yesterday. I had forgotten how funny it was without people quoting it at you during the movie.
I remember that movie more for the WAV files we used to populate our Windows OS in the mid-90s. "Go away or we shall taunt you a second time! (sniff)" was what tended to be used for quitting to DOS. There used to be this webcomic decades back called "The Wrath of Invincar" that featured the French knights as minor antagonists. 'Twas my introduction to the concept of mega-sized crossovers (wouldn't be in a position to play Smash Bros for another 10-11 years or so).
My 5.1 receiver and speakers for my TV finally died. They were 20+ years old... I got a new soundbar and subwoofer and wow, the old speakers were really not good. I had no idea how much better it would sound with this. It's a Samsung Q60T if you're interested. They make WAY more expensive ones, but I don't need it at all with the size of my apartment.
I have a Sansui TV/VCR in my room that I use for my tapes. My Dad got it for me back in 2001 from the local Aldi's store. It still works reasonably well, though the headphone jack is broken and it's developed a tendency to try and get the tapes stuck inside the player when I try to eject them.
