NOT THE PLANTS!!! THEY'VE GAINED SENTIANCE AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!! The *squee!* you screaming about? Nothing... >->
Random experience from my high school years. So this is back in 9th-grade English. We had been covering 'Romeo and Juliet' recently. Before class one day, one of my classmates decides to ham it up a bit and act out one of the death scenes, and the thing ends with him collapsing in front of the classroom door. Our English teacher enters the room, didn't slow down or anything: just stepped right over him and kept going. For some reason, my classmate thought that lack of a reaction was funny. And how did sentient plants remind you of that? It didn't. I just felt like sharing it. >^_^<
And that is why you should never ever forget your towel. If you know where your towel is, you'll never have to worry about that situation.
Tell me about it. Also, today was a *squee!*show of a day... Just sitting at home having a beer or two and got some food on the grill. Trying to forget the BS atm.
Things were fine yesterday until that news break. Then everything was crappy again. This reality sucks.
Is anyone watching Ms. Marvel? I tried, but I don't think it's for me. I can't root for her after how she treated her parents in the first episode. Spoiler: Tiny Spoiler She wanted to go to a con, her parents didn't want her to go without them going with her. They made homemade cosplay for the Hulk for both her and her Dad, complete with body paint, and she just *squee!*s all over them for it. They went through the effort to recognize her interests and involve themselves in it and she just *squee!*s all over them. She is not a potential superhero. She is a below average whiny teenager. I didn't watch any episodes after the first one.
Ah, the joys of character development. I checked on TV Tropes, and she does get better about it eventually, from what I can determine. No plans to watch it myself, though. I had my fill of live-action superhero stuff clear back with the 2002 Spiderman film. Neat as it was, by and large it just doesn't interest me.
