Time is an illusion. Especially with a microwave. 1:30 = cold spots in your food. 1:00 + temp check + 0:30 = burnt mouth.
I want one of the original 1950's microwaves. They were ridiculously strong. Like to cook a 12oz steak (approximately) to well done - 5 seconds.
My mom said that when she was growing up and her mom got her first microwave, they would have get-togethers kinda like Tupperware parties where they would show how to fix all sorts of things. To this day she still makes cauliflower the way she learned then.
I rarely use my microwave anymore, I have a convection & steaming toaster oven and it's made of magic and rainbows with way it cooks things.
It measures how much energy is consumed & used, but that's not important right now. *walks away playing The Naked Gun Theme*
No clue, they didn't give me the manual. I think it's one of the weaker ones. I need at least 90 seconds for my microwavable meals, and they're supposed to take 60 seconds.
Standard nowadays is what 1000-1100, so just remember that instructions for everything are going to be wrong for you.
Who the hell is selling a 700 watt Microwave new? Let alone still making them at that wattage? Am I just ignorant when it comes anything? Yes. That wasn't nice Nix.
It's what the apartment complex give us. It's a part of the apartment, and I don't pay for it. Yeah I had to adjust times for the old one too. I think that one was 600 watts.
