True. If I'm being honest, I wish I'd have kept my mouth shut so that Lio would've had a shot at winning.
It happens. Besides winning it now isn't the same as winning it when the forums was active. Whining it now would be on par with winning it on Cloudsdale Gathering.
Still not a fan. There are one or two eps that are nice, but over all the show was not my cup of tea. The CMC getting their marks was what made me decided the show wasn't worth it.
This sums up my experience too. It's not bad, but the feeling is just different. I also cancelled my Netflix, so I'd have to make effort to find the new stuff and well... meh.
I haven't watched them yet, so in the words of Cowboy Bebop's Jet Black: "Don't know and have no opinion."
i didn't find the new movie to be bad, and i could see potential for it not a big fan of the actual episodic show, though
Speaking for myself, they strike me as the sort of things that are fun to watch entirely because they're not the same. It's the type of change I don't mind, mostly because it doesn't effect me as an individual. Now, if only I would get up and actually watch them...
I liked the animation style in the movie, but from what I saw of the episodes they have like no budget for animation. It was disappointing and really threw me off.
Got one more day off, then it's back to work. Having a five-day vacation that wasn't due to post-COVID testing isolation is a strange feeling for me.
Having G5 on Netflix only pretty much stifled it. Not putting it on TV was odd. There's a MLP marathon on Discovery right now and it's G4. In fact, all the MLP on TV is G4 still and it's been over for how many years now?
I haven't watched TV in general too much the past few years, beyond the odd sporting event. It's... kind of like all of my joy for watching it just disappeared, and I don't know why. It just doesn't make sense. I mean, I have plenty of videos, but I'm not talking about those. That's a different pot of spaghetti where I'm concerned.
