Hitting things with a stick is much easier then using your hands. There's just no comparison.

 

You cannot simply replace functions with different pro-numerals because a singular value of them will cause them to equal the same amount. Math's does not work like that. You have established that both of them are 2, so treat them as 2 throughout the equation and you get.

4-4=4-4 (0=0)
4*0=2*0 (0=0)
2+2=2

You cannot use pro numerals like this because it makes no sense and lacks any relation. And now I throw potato's at you.
