When it comes down to it, it's a game. It's about having fun. Everyone playing should be having fun. If they aren't, you are doing something wrong. And make sure to have house rules, some of the stuff in the guidebooks is way to tedious.

Welp. Should of seen this coming. I wasn't really intending for a DnD convo when I wanted to post what I did. I was merely posting my thoughts in general on the concept of magic. But *squee!* me for trying to start a interesting convo, I suppose. *shrugs*

Admittedly I've been playing a decent number of video games in recent months (LoK: The Hand of Fate, The Goonies II, PatchCon, and NBA Jam, among others), but there are times when I think I play them too much. Case in point: last night I dreamed I was having this conversation with Boa Hancock (don't remember what it was about). Then I look off to the side and I see this dark portal with a multitude of eyes in it. So I take a can of Diet Mountain Dew and pour it into the portal, then told whoever it was inside to go away. I heard this ominous-sounding woman say "As you wish..." just before the portal closed. Not the first time I've been hassled by Yukari Yakumo, but I think it's the first time she's actually shown up in one of my dreams. Taking Crohn's into account, I've technically been sick since 2004. *shrug* Eh, whatever.
I can't think of any game related ones I've had but I usually dream about whatever show or movie I'm into at the time. That or if I'm dozing off during a race, sometimes the commentary will cause me to have dreams about racing.
Mommy asked will we see you married before the end of next year? If you can't book a preist Mommy got certified in Equestria. Too many people thought she could already cause of the hat.
