    Sometimes it's better to jump a fair bit forward into the season or start from another season. Blackadder is a series that comes to mind where you shouldn't really start with the first season.

    Or perhaps just take suggestions on an episode. *shrug*

    EDIT: I am on the neutral side when it comes to the series on discussion, since I've never really seen it.

    I've watched the entire season with my bro atm, and most of the episodes are filler.

    However, things get good at around Episode 35 onwards. I'd skip until there.

    While it's not impossible for me to enjoy it. I have too many show's on my table right now. I still need to catch up with MLP:FIM, and there's a new Transformers series. I'm also two season's behind Elementary.

    I've seen clips that have been linked to on fukufics.com. They didn't really pique my interest. Normally clips are enough for me to get a taste. 90% of the time if I like the previews or clips then I'll like the series or movie. GPX is an exception, the clips looked interesting but I didn't end up liking the series.
