Well the distress maybe because if he darker parts of what involves being a Pagan. I'm not judging but I'm just saying that for your's and anyone else's health, please be careful with those kinda things. There spiritual things with that involve the... darker side of magic, though it not all being bad if used right. That also depends on the person though.
Dark Magic? Nah. That's all preposterous anti-pagan propaganda. Having been on all sides of fences, it's harmless. There's a dark side to religion in general. Not that I'm anti-religion, but let's not go blaming the pagans for problems everyone has. What sort of pagan wedding was it? I believe from certain predominant points of view, "pagan" is just the name for any other religion.
I wouldn't expect you to understand the intricacies of the spirit world. Not all who are pagan practice the dark arts, true. But those who do want to follow their belief deep will seek the spiritual and tap into their potential. I myself, as a wiccan, have decided to understand the unseen and seek answers from the unknown. I've come across much that would be hard to believe by most but does exist in it's own way. It's by choice if we believe in these things so if you'd like to refer to it as 'just another religion', feel free to be inclined. I will not stop you, but I just merely wished to explain to you what I meant. Also to clarify, I didn't mean to sound like I was bashing pagans or making sound like they are the source of the worlds problems. I am not biased in that regard. I was just saying that caution is to expressed if one in his family did have some kind of gift. I wasn't going to suggest that Toaster's family is cursed for having dark powers of some bull like that.
Poisonous, I must bow to your greater experience. I meant no offense, and of course religions are different. If they are different they can't be equal. But for the purpose of respecting people's spiritual journeys, we must treat them that way. Everyone has a right to their pursuit of spirituality. My point was that it shouldn't upset people how one chooses to perform a wedding. As long as no one is injured, the important part is the wedding.
I agree. I wasn't going to bash the wedding either. It's nice that one was made, it's just my cautious side kicked in. I'm not one to judge though. My own words probably should of been worded better and I do apologize for that. Also, you don't need to bow. I just tend to express my knowledge where it is needed. There are still things even I don't know about the spiritual, let alone other worlds beyond our own. I won't pretend to know everything, and I know I am no deity or god. I'm just a gifted mortal, nothing more.
Bowing is only appropriate when addressing a queen. Your experience is valid and welcome. No need to apologize. Though, there is need for toast...
I like more ice cream. *gives him some ice cream* Yay! Thank you. *kisses Luna in her cheek and eats the ice cream* *blushes*
Woona makes me smile, Cadence makes me daw, and Celestia makes me laugh. Silly little filly. No sliding in nails.
Speaking of weddings... *music plays* *an unusually large Armiistaan male walks to the alter* "Ya vulgtlagln N'graath, Fhalma Armiista. Y stell'bsna nnn'gof'nn, mot'a syha'h. Y'hah." *Allysana and Cassia walk in, hand-in-hand, and approach the alter* "Never thought I'd see the day you finally settled down." "I never thought I would, either. But please, continue the ceremony" *what follows is a six hour long ritual that involves a lot of chanting, and ends with a insectoid alien being dragged, kicking and screeching, to the alter* *the priest presents a long-handled dagger to the couple, who grip it together and plunge it into the heart of the screeching Karapsa* "With the blood of your enemy spilled in her name, the Goddess blesses your union. I wish you eternal happiness together."
Well, it took a while to start, and last too long... but it was quite interesting, wasn't it Princy? *looks at him* *is sleeping on Luna's shoulder* Looks like you fell asleep at some point *pets him*
