I keep forgetting that not everyone is an American. On that note, I'm giving serious thought to leaving the country once I get this BS with that lying coward of a cop sorted out.
You should come over here. We have bad weather, high taxes, and an unrivalled level of public monitoring; it's great! In all seriousness though, America strikes me as a great place to live, so long as you're a rich white guy.
Yeah. It's more of a Fat Cat's haven over here. Rich people have it good while the rest of us suffer from new laws that chip away at our already dwindling rights.
Might be more true in the home of capitalism, but I'm pretty sure that's the case in most places. Except Cuba. Yay Cuba!
For you guys? Yeah. The rest of the world has been free to go there for years. Did you know Kennedy had a load of Cuban cigars shipped over for himself just before he enacted the trade embargo? Sly Bastard.
For all the BS about white privilege I sure as hell don't feel privileged in the slightest. I work in a 7 Eleven I have to watched the customers, all the customers, but if I look at a black customer in the wrong way I'm a racist. I card someone more than one time I'm causing troubles. Technically I should be carding people every bloody time, my register stops the transaction until I type in a birthdate or scan a card. You're not supposed to be here. We're having an out of character discussion.
Guess it's not a black and white issue (pardon the pun), and I imagine geography has a lot to do with it; America's a big place. Don't see many reports of cops unlawfully killing white folk though...
That's cause the national mainstream media doesn't report it. It actually happens more often then with blacks. Had a case of it here in Vegas, Erik Scott. I was rather surprised I heard about the case on Coast to Coast.
