[Wait? How did Smooze get bigger? Doesn't he need to eat jewels? The crown only looked like it was jewel. Akuma is a skilled blacksmith and can do that sort of stuff with the right metal.]

 

(Alice strikes me as the fancy type. I'm sure the silverware I stole has jewels in the handles and such.)
