    Late fall and winter's my favorite time of the year. It used to be spring, but then I moved to Kansas, most of Greensburg got steamrolled by a tornado, and I began to dread warmer weather.

    At least in Florida we can see hurricanes coming before they get here. Tornados are just scary.

    By that point we've already taken all the precautions you can at least... Out in middle America, those things can give you almost no warning and poof. Everything is gone.
