Food in general makes you fat, especially if you have too much of it. Speaking from experience on this one.
Me, myself and I. Boxes of mac & cheese? Gone. Liter-size Mountain Dew bottles? Gone, at least until I stopped drinking soda a few years back. Entire pizzas? Gone. Party-size bags of Doritos? Gone, gone, and gone. I'd say I was a lean, mean eating machine, but I'd only be half-right. As for my metabolism, I don't think it's ever been great to begin with. I was obese before I hit junior high, so make of that what you will.
Every time my mom talks about having a hard time quitting smoking, I imagine how hard it would be to quit soda.
Initially I did it because I wanted to start trying to lose weight, which ended up failing because my fondness for chocolate kicked itself up a notch to compensate. I kept on doing it because it's made both my dentist and the doctor I see for dealing with my Crohn's happy. This does not mean, however, that I'm going to deprive my favorite RP character of her basic weaponry anytime soon. You can imagine my amusement when I found this picture online. Actually, if you're able to withstand the urge for at least 3-4 days, it gets less and less difficult over time as you lose the addiction to caffeine. I haven't drank soda pop of any kind since January 2016. >^_^<
Meh it's not the caffeine for my it's the carbonation. I drink as much Root Beer as anything else. I hate Barqs though. Seriously if I want caffeine I'm not going to drink a root beer. I don't drink I don't smoke Soda is my one and only vice and I don't see a problem with keeping it.
Sure, the caffeine helps me wake up but I drink caffeine free soda after 3:00. For me it's the taste.
