I didn't watch cartoon like that growing up for me it was giant robots, soldiers, and guys with no shirt.
I said from that era, Dragonball, not in that era. I was born in the 1980s. The first two I get based on the descriptions alone, but what's this about shirtless guys? I don't think I remember seeing those.
Thing is, the cartoons still exist so there is no excuse to have not seen them. GET CULTURED, Y'ALL!!
If it's the Cold War, I couldn't tell you anything about it. I was more concerned with Nickelodeon, cartoons, the Nintendo, the Tandy 1000, and cats than anything to do with what was happening outside of Dearborn Heights. The words "Soviet Union" meant nothing to me.
The only thing I knew about the Soviet Union is that it's where Linka was from on Captain Planet. At least until it fell. Then she was from "Eastern Europe."
XD I love how they changed that one line in the opening. Why not just call her Russian like Wheeler did.
