Honestly, I do agree there. The only benefit for Disney, with these remakes, is money. It's obvious they are cash grabs. Cashing in on the nostalgia of older generations. I feel for, but also shame, anyone who falls for this 'by the books' trick. The fact that older movies still have a market is sincerely surprising, though it maybe a chance to reintroduce newer generations to older movies. Though it maybe simpler to just show them the originals, instead of the heinous cash grabs that the remakes are.
