Duct tape was invented during WWII by a subsidiary of Johnson & Johnson, and a lot of companies (including the company that became Manco, the maker of Duck Tape) copied the general idea. Gorilla Tape has only been around since 2005. It's twice as thick as standard duct tape, has stronger adhesive, and is considerably stronger overall.
One thing that gets me about the Flex Tape commercial is that if your 5gal. bucket has a leak, why the hell would you buy Flex Tape when you could just, I don't know, BUY ANOTHER DAMN BUCKET!?
Because if you need a bucket RIGHT NOW and you're nowhere near a store, you're gonna be damned glad to have a way to fix your broken bucket.
Well random bits of wisdom... nothing to do with my comment but I don't know what I was expecting. EDIT: Had to share this;
Welp, looks like Jeph Jacques has latched onto Tumblr pronouns, much in the same way a tick latches itself onto your dog. Think maybe it's time to stop reading QC, if he's gonna go all SJW on us. Also, Lio: Next time, don't lose. And don't be afraid to get an equalizer. If they're bigger or stronger, smack 'em with a baseball bat.
