I am in the process of building myself a new desk, its almost finished it just needs painted. I left space for when I get my third monitor
My brain: It's the weekend! Let's go do stuff! My body: *squee!* YOU. WE ARE STAYING IN THIS BED UNTIL NOON.
Sounds like me. I set my clock for 8:00 with every intention of getting up and making the most out of my day. Then 8:00 rolls around, I shut the alarm off, then I crawl back in bed until 10:30!
At least I was back down to forty hours this week. Overtime is nice, but money's useless when you're dead.
That happens to me a lot. I can't even count how many times I've hit the snooze button because I wanted to see what happens next.
My dogs do not understand what a weekend is. I try to sleep in, but they do not let me. Although, it is not a bad way to wake up.
I almost got a cat today. Walked out of the German restaurant I go to every weekend and this big ginger cat pops out from under the signboard and starts yelling at me. I reached down and petted it for a few minutes, and while it was quite friendly and seemed healthy, all the scars and the ragged ear made me think it was a stray. I think if it's there again next week, I'm gonna try to figure out if it belongs to anyone. Seems like too sweet a cat to not have anyone.
The douchebag left three cats. Of course, since they were too much trouble to litter train, they've been exclusively outdoor cats since they were kittens. They're about feral at this point. The friendly one got adopted by another neighbor, so that's good. The really skittish one just kinda vanished. No idea what happened to her. The standoffish one still hangs around, and I fill her bowl every few days, but she doesn't seem interested in being a pet.
No my place to judge exactly, but it kinda sounded like that ex-neighbor kinda didn't give a *squee!* about his cats. If there are any animal abuse reports on the guy, I'm sure the ASPCA will have him arrested somehow. Eh, though that's not a garentee. I god damn garentee you though PETA isn't going to be helping that one cat left there. It's a shame though that the remaining cat is aggressive. There is most likely a reason. I've dealt with a cat that hated men due to it's male owner being a douche to it and abusing it. It was a cat on my biological mother's side of the family.
I work at a 7 Eleven. I stopped a couple of thieves from leaving the the store with stuff and they made up a lame excuse trying to say they weren't going to steal and then they did steal about $40 bucks worth of stuff. They didn't get everything they would have original gotten away with at least.
