Would it be too much to say that Derpy is pretty low on my list? I mean, yes, she looks funny, she's cute and she just talked, which caused a big buzz, but really, isn't it getting a little old? And as of last episode, Pinkie Pie is my new favorite. :3
Rainbow Dash. Ditzy Doo, mainly because most of the fandom call her a name that's ableist. And I don't get why so many love her. I think that's it.
I think that many people like Derpy not because of her character but because she represents the fandom. C'mon, she's the brainchild of the bronies! A character invented by a staggeringly passionate group of people is now canon! How awesome is that?
That doesn't change the fact that I consider "derpy" to be offensive and ableist. I'll stick to Ditzy Doo. I guess it's kind of nice, but.....I don't know. She just doesn't interest me.
As far as I know, Ditzy Doo ≠ Derpy Hooves. There is no proof that Ditzy and Derpy are the same. When Ditzy was referenced in "Winter Wrap Up," they did not show who she was. If I recall correctly, nopony has ever pointed to the grey pegasus we know as Derpy and call her Ditzy. So, as far as I'm concerned, Ditzy and Derpy are two separate ponies. Personally, I'm thrilled that the name "Derpy Hooves" is now canon.
I just read the plot synopsis for season 2 episode 18. I might be having a new least favourite pony soon.
Mine...sorry, Testy... is Rarity. She's just a greedy, self-centered, obnoxious @$$ho!e who doesn't deserve the element of Generosity. And her singing voice sucks donkey @$$.
I was actually just thinking I love her singing voice and thought she has the best songs She's always making dresses for the mane six for free so I thought that was kind of generous. but keeping on topic Granny Smith does nothing for me but get in the way so that'd be mine...needless to say her episode bored me
I like them all of course, but my least favorite of the mane 6 would be Rarity. Of any pony though it would probably be that photographer guy from when Fluttershy became a model. He has good tastes in ponies of course, but I didn't like the character.
The fact that Derpy was included in the new episode was awesome, I won't deny that! More proof that the creators are recognizing the fandom. That is actually very exciting to me. :3 But as for character development and actual personality, Derpy is near the bottom (I won't say who my least favorite is just because her humor is so... simple, for lack of better words. I can only take my Derpy doses a little at a time, too much and it'll get monotonous really quick. :/ ...But her voice is awfully cute. :3
